How many servers are we getting and what are they?

Does anyone know?
If not, how would one go about requesting that IMC share whatever plans they have on this with us?

All my buds are undecided or completely random with their server picks.
I’d like to sit and wait until it comes before we pick, but what with this being a ‘global’ (ish) set of servers, we can’t be sure some might accidentally pick ahead/etc and then we all get split or something.

TL;DR Knowing the server names/locations planned might give us a chance to plan among friends so we get to all play together. (or something)

If you don’t know their locations, then go for the top server in the list.

  • If IMC won’t split servers geographically, topmost will be the most populated server.
  • If IMC will split server locations, then top will probably be NA -> most populated.
  • If IMC will relocate servers eventually but won’t say a word during OBT, then top server again will be the most populated.

Don’t they also do top as the recommened server near your place as well?

So if they are living in different places or countries then they might just go in different places.

If memory serves right, iCBT2 had… 4 or 5? They added one for Latin America later during the test. I don’t remember their names, but I believe there was 4 or 5 servers during iCBT2. If that is anything to go by.

There was Laima, Gabija and Zemyna, then Saule was released I guess

About the iOBT: No clue boyz.

Let us wait. They’ll probably be named like that, but about their locations…
No way we can know without an official annoucement.

Not enough fanbase and the laws here are a bit more strict on money making with games … tax is all i say xD.

If we can get enough people to support it, maybe yes.

But first we need it translated in the three main languages.
French, English and German.

Main?
Yes, cause French and German are bolstering the game economy in euro mostly. And English, cause all else should atleast understand it to a degree…

Server would sit best in ireland … cheap and fast.

I don’t live in Europe, I live in the Middle East but I’d really love an EU server because my ping is like 80 with those.

Yeah, but even if you life directly besid eit. You wont get better then 30 ms ping xD.

I life close to the eu lol servers… or better to say “close to the server cluster which host lots of games”.

Even if they can’t supply us information about location, an estimate list of names and number of servers would be something.

you can do, based upon korea launch:

  • Ausrine (Initial)
  • Vakarine (Initial)
  • Laima (Initial)
  • Zemyna ( Opened a few hours after release, due to congestion)
  • Gabija ( Opened a few hours after release, due to congestion)
  • Saule ( Korea don’t have a Saule, but we might if there is a larger population here on the first day to play )

What would be the most popular one and what would be the closest one to Europe? (Living in the UK).

They’re likely to show the servers in reverse population order so different servers could top the list as populations shift.

I’d expect them to put all regular Steam servers in Ashburn VA again. It costs money to set up shop in multiple datacenters. It would make sense to bring back the four iCBT servers, and add Vakarine too, since she’s the best goddess. Laima could end up being the popular server for big guilds to meet for guild wars.

There’s honestly little point in marketing a game as “International” if all of the servers are going to be located in the exact same area. Still possible, just wouldn’t make sense (Outside of cutting costs) for the game to basically be a North American server with few IP blocks at this point.

It’d be like gathering Cats, Dogs, and Cows together and feeding them all Grass.

And yes, Valkarine is the best Waifu.
