How many of you would act like IMC does?

how many of you would create a game in 2016 or 2017 or any year post social media and not have at least 1 person giving constant updates on how you’re improving your game?

you think that kid telling your games development story to the public costs more money than what imc is obviously willing to lose?

I will have a team for his if i make a game.

Complex to answer. Individual vs Corporation. But at least this is a better topic than “Let’s ban Weebs”…

But as individual, I would like to think I would; but there is no guarantee. As a corporation, too many moving parts; without intricate knowledge of how that specific company operates, it’s hard to answer.

I know what you mean. Even though I hate social media and all this social media community stuff, this is how the millennials work. Any company today that is not willing to get on-board with the community presence, transparency and interaction via social media are severely behind the times.

Explains it a little better.

being 30+ maybe 30-40 is a weird age… as I’ve grew up knowing I never need to read that ■■■■ to already know what it intends to say. I grew up not needing the ads either… “no mom, do not punch the ■■■■■■■ monkey to win a LV purse” you do not win the purse… all you do is create a headache for me, to get rid of the malware".

Yes aunt Jenny, I will fix your computer, just to have it sit on my coffee table for 3 weeks not touching it.

Plz dont link your articles trying to help strengthen what you already know to be true. It delegitimizes your intelligence.

we all know without reading that ■■■■, kids dont give 2 shits about ads… i mean who really does…

I have always been curious who the ■■■■ watches a Kai/chevy/ford/lexus commercial and actually goes out and buys the car because of their ■■■■■■■ commercials… And where do these companies find ppl that actually buy based on commercials? these punks should be nonexistent… what the literal ■■■■.

So you didn’t read it and get to the part about how the lines of advertising and public relations begin to blur and meld into one entity?

Can lead a horse to water, but can’t make it drink.

i like to argue. thats about it. trigger me yes. anything that can have a devils advocate and im all over it.

Sorry, I seemed to have triggered you. I’ll leave you alone now.

IMC does have a problem:

Many actual bugs are there untouched since the very first cbt with unresponded tickets and such.

Many att’s description are wrong or the att itself is broken (some skills also) since the very first cbt.

I don’t know what’s the deal but the “word on the streets” is hurting this game in the long run. Not a single positive review from the main big sites/youtube channels.

I just don’t understand it,myself. Why bother to make an international version at all if you don’t have a dedicated team to maintain it? Yes,this MMO has foreign roots, but if you want to expand then you need to actually be prepared for it.

Have a team that works on issues for iTOS only. They would respond to bugs and exploits for this version, make announcements and maintain the forum, and in my opinion,at least 1 GM per server to deal with bots/sellers/etc in-game with a different GM to relieve them at certain times for around the clock maintenance.Well, perhaps 1 for Klai and Orsha both, since I’ve read Orsha is pretty low in population at the moment.

If we got even a fraction of the attention that kTOS gets [from IMC and Nexon combined] we’d be doing a good bit better.

Short answer.

Small budget large project.
Sometimes it works out most time it fails.

I would actually like to see how much money they made from foundation packs. Can’t trust steam since there so many illegal packs bought so meh.

Well sure, and I get the feeling the staff is small in size as well. But in that case,it assures me they should have started the Korean version and let it draw in some more money.Use that to get more staff to work on more parts of it all,and before you know it,they could have enough revenue to expand into this market with knowledgeable people working on it,and giving it the attention it deserves.

North america isn’t their target audience. I would be very surprised if they weren’t more active over on the Nexon/KToS forums.

Been there, I feel ya. :pensive:
