Popo shop has been in the game for over a year.

The fact that the steam charts are showing an increase from Dec 2019 to now of about 3x, it seems to show that’s more than just popo shop.

I guess they meant the avg players it’s inflated because players afk to farm popo points. So the number of people that are actually playing is lower than what’s in the charts.

There’s other ways to look at too. The T10 scroll has greatly depreciated in value due to the insane amount of 50% even transcendence events and the increased amounts of bgems in the economy.

I think the main reason is the stay at home order in many parts of the world, and the fact that ms2 closed, lack of games with this kind of appeal (design and art).

I’m not saying the game is good as the reason for why the uptick. I just don’t think it’s popo pt shop. But you are right, a lot of players are afk too.
