How important is the Rodelero's Shield offense-wise?

Hello Rodeleros of the Forums,

since I know that you should wear a strong shield as a Hoplite for your Synchro Thrusting attack, I wonder:

IS there such a Synergy for Rodeleros as well? Or is it that you just need a Shield to use your Skills and that’s it?

I don’t think Synchro Thrust depends on shield defense to deal damage anymore. The attribute simply gives it +50% damage.

No Rodelero skills depend on shield. You can use whatever shield you want, as long as you are using one.
