How I'll play my Fencer/Templar

This is how I plan to take the role of a guild leader to help my friends and also take the role of tank like we agreed before.

Basic Idea:

I’ve been trying to search the best combination for a tank on the most different situations and after some time also, with the Templar class added I came up with this build with seem to fit my interests and also can help the party I’m into on the best way I can see.
The Classes that i’ve choosed are Swordsman(duh XD), Peltasta, Squire, Fencer and finally Templar.
But why?
Well, I didn’t like Rodeleros like many people did. Some of their skills are slow(my opinion here) and, Hoplite is also out because I’ll be using rapiers.

Stats:

The stats progression will be 3 CON - 1 DEX - 1 STR
CON - The source of HP, Block and all your survivabilty.(You can block bleed lol)
DEX - Some people say that dex doesn’t affect that much your accuracy but I don’t think so and, the evasion that you get will be a benefit for fencer skills.
STR - You don’t want to be just a meat shield, right?

Classes & Skills:

Swordsman > The basic class you will start.

On early leveling get 1 point of ‘Bash’ then Max Gung Ho to have some damage and lvl fast.
With only one Circle, just max Bash, Gung Ho for some solo situations and Pain Barrier.
Pain Barrier > Many people tought that this skill granted a immunity to some CC but, in fact it only gives you a high resistance to those stats, which is also a good thing especially on high levels.
Bash > Basic CC as long as you get the passive Knockdown. It has many uses, I mostly use it to bounce off some monsters if they deal magic damage at melee range (Cockatrices are an example).

Peltasta > The fortress of the game(joking). The basic and main class for the swordsman tank.

Now things start to get rough. From R2 to 4 you can solo everything with the proper gear but your damage will suck sometimes, like I said early I’ll mostly play with my friends and they’ll carry me (like hell they will xD).
From Peltasta C1 to 4 we will get this skills:

Swash Buckling: Taunt, that’s pretty much it. Max the skill to lvl 15 unlike some people say that it isn’t needed, I disagree with that. The passive is also very good which raises your max hp for 30s.
I even have some videos of using the taunt at max lvl and being efficient. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RsCHL8asMoA and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7BoIake_m0E It is is on bad quality but you will be able to see(I hope).

Guardian: Your defense buff, it is very good and have a downside of cuting off some of your damage(you don’t need damege, trust me xD). Rise it up to lvl 12, it will last for 2 min(120s) and will give a good amount of defense. Don’t forget to train the passive which increases your evasion.

Shield Lob: Perfect for grinding, some areas have so many monsters that your taunt won’t be able to lure them. Your solution for that? Ask the archer to get’em(NO, don’t do it). Just throw your Shield on them. Why not? Also you can increase the AOE by training the passive of this skill. Max it, it has a decent dmg with a low cost of SP.

Umbo Blow: Pick one point here only. This skills have many uses and it depends on how you use high guard as well. I’ll be using just for CC and chance of stun. Train the passives Knockdown and Stun to deal with most enemies except big ones.

High Guard: Many people love it, many hate it. It is not a skill that you will be using very often, only on tough enemies(good aganist some bosses). make it level 5 and you’re good to go. Don’t forget to train “Increased Defense”, a little boost on defense is never enough(you already lost 50% of your attack anyway).

Umbo Thrust: This skill is very good for aganist bosses and pretty tough enemies. If you succeed on aplying the debuff you will lower the opponent’s defense. Just 1 level will do.

Langort: New skill, its description says that you block and strike with your shield and sword, that means you will do a simultaneous attack with your weapon and shield. The passive “Blocking” grants a 3s silence when you block an attack after using Langort, so this is a very situational skill to silence enemies with some powerfull skills also, it deppends on how you will perform in battle. Again 1 point will do.

Rodele… No, hell no!

Squire > Utility class and you can earn some coin when you’re not playing. This will be at Rank 5.

Arrest: Max it, you can hold up to 6 enemies(at lvl 5) for 10s, then you party come and spank them down, also you can decrease their defense by traning “Defense Weakened” and slow them with “Slow”, which applies after “Arrest” ends.

Repair: With a lot of CON, you can carry a good amount of kits to keep the grind going or to repair the party on dungeons. Pretty handy to have, raise it to max(lvl 5).

Weapon Maintenance: Well you will not be a pro with this since it is only one circle of Squire, but it will help the overall dps of your party which is a good thing as well.

Fencer > The star of the build(in my opinion).

The main skills will boost your evasion, I hope you have a high level of evasion from “Guardian”.

Lunge: At level 5 it will boost your evasion by 50% upon use for 4s. I still hope that you can evade magic attacks, I haven’t heard anything related from the kOBT so this is my bet aganist magic.

Attaque Coquille: Damage skill. Has a good base damage even for meat shields like us, I’m using it at level 4.

Esquive Toucher: This skill will also boost your evasion upon use, the difference from Lunge it is that you will have the bonus while the skill is on cast. You move on place before attack and after attack.

Flanconnade: It protects you aganist an enemy attack upon use. I highly doubt it protects aganist magic since it has no cooldown. But well it is another bet.

If you’re not planning to be a guild master like me you can take out templar and add another Fencer rank to have more evasion with Lunge and Esquive Toucher.

Templar > The guild man

Summon Guild Member: Summon people to you. Pretty handy to when you find farmspots or open world pvp(if there will be such a thing). The downside is the 1 hour cooldown(3600s) - Max it

Warp To Guild Member: You warp to your guild mate, it can also be combined with “Summon Guild Member” to gather up your gang. Also has a 1 hour cooldown(3600s)

Build Guild Tower: Your guild Tower derp, max it as well.

Battle Orders: This skill is very handy but it depends of the composition of your party because it gives STR to them, on the other hand it affects all your guild members nearby. Leave it level 4 since it is the remaining points you have.

And that’s it. I hope you enjoy and I’m open to suggestions since this may be not accurate.
If you don’t like, I don’t care so, whatever. xD

HUEHUEHUE from Brazil!

no magic evade.
only Rodel c2 can.

Watch the first 10 seconds of this video:

This is a tank with 75k hp without Rodelero against monsters that do magic attacks.
The tank didn’t even last 10 seconds.
Rodelero c2 magic tank is no joke

Isn’t magic attack cannot miss? So what’s the point of evasion?

Which skill or passive does that?
