hmmm i have a lvl 10 jolly roger and im farming honeymelis. my rate is like 12 - 17 stingers per sacrament buff . and most of the stingers came from the pillage buff 
ā¦ so pretty good skill for me. additional info . corsair 3 is pretty good i maxed out iron hook and i can kill archers instantly ā¦ just discovered you cannot dispell that skill

Does Pillage buff only works using normal attack? or it also works while your using a skill, like stab, hexxen or dust deviL? Thanks

Iām mainly PvE, sometimes may do some PvP. And thatās why i intend to get lv10 JR, i want to become Shinobi at R7. My concern is: Will lv10 JR work good enough (w/o bugs)?
bug?? but i sure do know that JR 10 gives the money. it one of the reason people will be willing to be partied with you even without pelt.
tip, do not overlap flags. if you or your party member is inside an overlapped part of 2 or more flags, the buff in them will be removed after around 5 seconds. they have to reenter the area again to get the buff.
you mean my flag cannot stack right? or another corsair player flag?
i read the whole topic and saw someone talk about a bug which you cannot loot silverā¦
so i will so lv10 flag then, the hook and KH dont work with bosses and i feel that using hook and KH for killing mobs isā¦boring lol, itās not AoEā¦
if both of you guys are partied, yes since both of them can give you buff, they will bug and the buff will wear off after a few seconds. so if a corsair already dropped a flag, dont drop yours in the same area. else buff will wear off and cant get loot

another question, when the pillage work? i mean when will i get items/silver, during the skill or after kill? If it during the skill, i have to place it during boss, and it will be tricky if the boss moves a lot, lol. And i dont know is this a bug or not, but when i place a flag, the pillage buff icon appear, then i hit and it gone, i go out of the circle and return it come backā¦ done know whether it affect the buff or not
During the skill. You can pillage Silver a couple times before the monster dies. It doesnāt work against quest bosses.

pillage works as long as you hit a monster. via normal attack, skill or even bleed. does not work on quest boss as mentioned by MattBR (the pillage buff is removed as you hit them or i think if it should have proc) also does not work against dungeon boss (same thing will happen, the pillage buff gets removed when you attack them). works on mission boss
Mission bosses never gave me Silver or a cube. Iām in doubt about dungeon bosses because of @Endurance screenshots.
You can pillage cubes from dungeon bosses for a fact but the chance is extremely low. I drop it every time and have only pillaged once but unfortunately it was Mineloader.

nope, does not work when i do it. i tried it when i saw that picture of manticen. droping cube. soloing manticen i cast flag then after sometime when i was attacking it, the loot buff is removed just like when attacking quest boss. did it multiple times even on the same instance where i try to rebuff my looting, all ends up removing looting buff. I did this for 2 weeks, soloing manticen just 3 weeks ago. (the last weeks were pentamion hunting, same thing also happened for mineloader and harpie. They remove looting buff when after sometime when I attck them)
