I’m a lv 132 Corsair with lv 4 Jolly Roger.
I use jr for all my entire grind, and dungeons, but I noticed that the extra money drop is just 1-5 silver and it’s depending on jr’s level?
So I want to ask my fellow high level corsair about thoughts on Jolly Roger, is the benefits easily noticeable when farming and grinding? regarding the drops and silver gain, or its just mediocre support skills.
It’s preety garbage tbh. I lvl’d it to 10 when I was 240 and used skill reset cuz I wasn’t really seeing any significance to it. I’m only taking 2 ranks of it atm and the difference is very very insignificant.
Well aside from me using the Jolly roger for pillaging, It’s a great skill if you have the attribute, cause with a full party you can easily nullify attacks with a 12.5% chance at max. The silver is noticeable after awhile imo it procs often for me to get abunch of silver as for items that you just need. Although I haven’t really full tested the amount of silver gain + proc x number of times gained through out my runs of fielding/dungeoning/instance
It’s 200-300? Level 5 I believe. It doesn’t show up on the money roll correctly, check your inventory and compare instead. I’ve also dropped a lot more lvl 8 cards with it than not grinding at Dina’s Bees. I’d say it’s a pretty good skill.
Well, thing is, a friend of mine told me he partied with a corsair in iCBT, the silver he could farm was almost 100k/hour.
But aside from what my friend said, I haven’t seen ANY noticeable different between using JR and not using it, only the 1-5 silver drop procs.

What if your real name was Jolly Roger and your character name was Jolly Roger that uses Jolly Roger.
I get 40 silver per silver steal, open inventory, taunt a bunch mobs and normal attack them until you see stealing successful or something like that, see the difference. 40 silver is a little but what you want with JR is the item steal.

No one talking about the bonus damage? i notice that when the bonus up my skill damage rise from 3700~ to 4000~ (carnivory) or i’m just misleading.

difference in what, you mean? the silver gained? check the lower right portion of the screen in SS1 and SS2

I took corsair mainly for JR item looting and JR attribute. Barb C3 is nothing to me other than slightly more damage(I dont like the new skills that come with barb c3 either). Dust Devil is also a good skill, it prevents mobs from attacking.
