How far are you on your cleric build and do you like it?

Hi,

I want to ask the clerics in the game how far are they on their builds. Also is it all that you thought it will be? How is your lvling and supporting experience?

I am curious on any feedback for the classes so far :slight_smile:

I am currently working on a Cleric C2 > Diev C3 > Druid > PD build. I’m currently at Cleric C2 > Diev C1 (lvl 44).
So far I was nicely impressed by cleric C2, it has very nice dmg with full INT. Diev C1 is only utility, carve helps a bit with flying monsters but at high lvl I don’t think it’s usefull.

Those flying monsters though, damn they’re a pain. Keep thinking of dropping 1 circle of diev and druid for krivis C2. Decisions, decisions…

All in all I like my cleric and I looove not having downtime for hp or sp regen (some sp pots from time to time but that’s all).

Atg the moment i’m at lvl 101, cleric c3, priest c1… i’m going for a cleric c3, priest c3 paladin c1 build focused on healing and support, main stat INT.

I’m liking it BUT my personal opinion is that you’ve got to be some sort of a masochist to go for a build like mine since you’ll be absolutly useless against flying enemies and questing and grinding is kind of slow compared to other classes.

Do you play solo or in party?
I’m guessing party since you’re lvl 101.

May I ask why did you decide to take paladin C1? Do you plan on taking more ranks later when they are released?

Actually mostly solo since the few games i made in the game i either outleveled or they outleveled me… solo questing most of the time xD

Yeah i planned my build thinking bout future upgrade to the lvl cap :wink:

My current build on my alt cleric, it is for party play most of the circles, i call it half support lol. So far it is fun. Stats is INT and SPR i don’t remember the ratio right now.

Wow nice, good luck from here on too.
Why didn’t you take priest earlier for the buffs? I think it’s easier to solo like that.

I miss krivis C2, Zaibas is awsome dmg skill. But why are you taking it to C3? Why not Druid C2 for example?

To get heal at max lvl, that mean better healing AND more tiles to damage enemies

Unfortunately Druid is only available at R5, otherwise i would do that, i did take C3 more for the extra hits and damage, and since it scales with INT it is a + for me.

Am a 62 Cleric C2->Diev C1 so far, here’s my plan

It’s missing some pages in the middle (Pally C2/C3) and the end (R7). Might try investing in Resto L8/Conversion L2.

Thoughts:

  1. I love Diev thematically. Statues are a cool play style. Tempted to go Diev C3 instead :disappointed_relieved:

  2. Statues = Pocket tp scroll. :smile:

  3. Safety zone in female Japanese voice = :dizzy_face:

  4. The SP statue was really underwhelming IMO. When I used it in dungeons, it was always costing me more SP when I was making.

  5. Solo healing as a C2->Diev 1 is really hard for me, or maybe I’m bad/had bad teams. With a priest though, I’m just a statue machine and can dps :heart_eyes:

  6. Dungeon playstyle
    Solo: Plop down SZ on tank, place sp statue on top of SZ (if has a soft taunt!), heal once, place Cooldown statue, heal if needed -> enjoy 20s heal cd -> hope your party lives for 20s and until cd statue is back up. Rip SP.
    co-heal: my favorite! Same thing except now I can use cure and carve offensively instead of mainly healing. Still nothing compared to the dps classes though :frowning2: but ok vs bosses.

  7. Stats planned so far, 60 int, 50 con and rest into Str. Maybe MAYBE invest in some SPR but I think it’s not worth it later on?

  8. Yandere stabbing animation with carve (may be good or bad)

You are right about the druid rank. Didn’t think about it when I typed it before lol.
Are you at krivis 3? I wonder about the Melstis skill, is it usefull?

I think the sp statue is only good at diev2 or 3, basically with more points in it. Doesn’t paladin have some skill that helps with sp restoration, I think it’s an attribute of a skill.

Healing in dungeon is ok for me,currently lvl 55.
I usually place SZ like you on the tank, back off a bit, place 1 heal in his area, turn 180 degrees and place 1 heal for the dd’s.

I always place both heals one after the other so there are 20 tiles and it goes on cd asap. After that I am free to dps/debuff. I guess it depends on how many monsters the tank lures. You can tell him to take it a bit easier if your dd’s can’t finish them fast (more haling required).

My current build is STR based Cleric c1> Priest C2> Pally C3.

It’s pretty lackluster to say the least. I do minimal but consistent damage. It has insane survivability and off(hybrid) support for dungeons. When our group was wiping on the level 50 dungeon I kept our party alive while damaging the boss. Just waiting to become a paladin, so I can really use the investment I put into STR.

Hmm, i think it might be useful for a FS cleric build, i mean, it maintain the buffs, but what if you take a knock back attack? i would guess it cancel it, even if you use cleric SZ, so it would be useful for ranged classes like archer and wiz i think, even so the one tanking should keep the boss or monsters away and with the back facing the others. I may get Druid C2 if they decide to go up to R8 later on, so i can get Kabbalist C2 also.

Cleric2 Diev3 Druid2, currently at Diev1

Its a pain for me. I can do great with ground monsters by laying my level 5 cure, but rarely I’ll see myself having heal consume all of its tiles to do damage. I took one point into carve and in a future I will take it away (by buying a reset from someone I hope). But once I get my carve owl (saving 5 points) I will be happy wrecking anything. So far I’m displeased with myself, I’m a heal bot that can heal great, but I’m a heal bot. My statues seem meh, I don’t notice them. The cooldown one I don’t notice it at all, the sp one only is noticed by my oblique shot spam archer buddy and I feel like I lay cure and AA to do damage. I feel bad being so slow.

But again, once I get to diev2 I will be happy carrying half of a forest in my backpack.

I know your pain. Although for me it’s more like the sp statue is useless for now and the cd is better. I use it to aggro groups of monsters and kill them with heals, cure, carve. And I have noticed the cd reduction, it’s not huge but it’s there :slight_smile:

What I haven’t noticed is the slow debuff applied on the monsters. Have you?

May i ask what is your stats distribution? I plan to do the same path as your actually but i’m new as i have no idea how to go on. Im currently priest c1 , at lvl22. Add some STRs. Begin doubting myself as i think i’m going for the wrong stats. Also After your C3 paladin , is it possible to continue into Monk? Does monk benefit from STR?

Im working on Cleric c2>krivis c1>Pld c3>PD.
I hate flying Mobs.Zaibas is good but the CD is too long.
Yesterday i got my Pld c1 and now im knocking that damn flying Mobs in the Air again with my smite.^^
Heal from tiles going up from ~800 to 1400 with restoration.
Im at 100 Int/50Con and died only on this Multishot Worldboss in Royal Mausoleum F1.

Hi hi. My current build is cleric C2, Krivis C1 and Sadhu C2. Stats is all in to Int. I have to say Sadhu Possession dmg is insane. Currently grinding in Mage tower lvl5 is such a breeze. They can’t even hit u. Thinking of going Krivis C3 at rank 7 for insane burst nuke zaibas dmg while waiting for Possession CD to wear off.

Still not entirely sure on whether or I want Chap or Cleric 2, or even Krivis 1.

Leveling isnt too much of a problem since I got Blessing maxed at lvl 10 (attribute at 50) and am using Cafrisun.

Taking it slow tho, since I want to complete some of the monster grind achievements while they still give ‘‘some’’ exp.

Do you use OOB to kill stuff? And what about druid C2 for more dmg at rank 6 and 7?

I tried sadhu in iCB2 and it was nice (only made it to sadhu c1). Back then sadhu OOB dmg and speed were very good but I still had problems with the range, so I gave up on it. It’s nice to hear that possession is good. Do you see many sadhu’s at your lvl range?

To be frank, the nerf hit Sadhu really hard. OOB do very litte dps now… So far most of my dmg come from Cleric Cure lvl 5 and Krivis Zaibas lvl5. It just too mush hassle to cast Fade and safety wall up for OOB and it do so little dmg. I rather lure mobs and nuke them with skills. But after I got Possession as Sadhu C2, it totally worth it. Yes it does get interupted but if u do it properly and get all the mobs into your possession, damn it so fun. As for Druid, I research that Carnivore don’t affect flying mobs and it do dmg per hit on each mob. I rather have zaibas with splash dmg. If I were to up tonnes of int. It will outscale Druid dmg. I just want some AOE dmg to cast in between Possession CD. OOB kinda bad now, I do hope there be some future changes in future.
