I mean, i can equip up to 200 looting change, what will change?
does it increase the ammount, the % in a mathematical way or it’s just a mysterius feature?

Some posts on inven says that each looting chance = 0.1% increase but no confirmation. Just speculation.
The higher looting chance = the higher the number of blue, purple and orange gears you will drop.

Until this day, I am still waiting for a dev blog about looting chance, and about appraiser effects + identify stat values.
Best way to get loot chance is to play challenge mode. Loot chance is buffed for each challenge mode stage. I think loot chance max per equip piece is 125 or 150. Am trying to keep track of each highest stat value.
With future gorkas cards, you can get 3x50 (green card) loot chance bonus on top of your equip loot chance. Several ktos events also add loot chance buff, and praying at Player-statue also gives loot chance buff (not implemented on steam server yet).

Till now i did some “farming session” at HG 340 with my Thauma-FF3 and with no additional Looting Chance i get a red item (and i double it) in about 40 minutes or fewer. I know it’s “random” but i did it alot of times so it’s an average time for my killing speed.
i will equip more Looting chance but i need the spr and int from my equip to kill enemies xD … so it will be hard to properly test it.
Yeah. Swapping to Looting Chance gear is actually taxing, especially for physical dps classes (if using Solmiki, almost 1k Phys Atk loss).
My solution to compensate was to get a +16 Mace and trans it to use looting chance gems instead of offensive gems on weapons and sub-weapons. It isn’t exactly cheap to min-max.
As for results. At 400+ it’s pretty visible and you can actually fill the inventory quickly.
I’m not sure where this behavior would start but at 458 looting chance gem you’ll start seeing 4-6 (swell) blue drops from same groups more, some times even repeated items like 4x blue crossbows.
Waiting for next patches to test higher looting chance intervals as I upgrade my gear. If you want I can fill some details here as a mini-guide for what expect from what range.
