How does Durability works?

been taunting a lot in dungeon, and i notice that my armor durability drops like a rock. Kinda annoying to repair all the time.

But the question is that durability loss is only triggered by getting by damage?

Both by physical and Magical?

How bout dodge or block?

I know is not really impacting in-game but I m just curious really. Sorry for bad English…

Yes, it’s when you get hit, damage or block. I notice whenever I get ganked by magic mobs my dura plummets. I evade most of the physical attacks.

If you block successfully your durability does not decrease. I’ve tanked heaps of dungeons where i blocked hundreds of arrows and my durability barely went down

I think it’s based on the amount of damage taken, so successful dodges and blocks shouldn’t reduce it.

Dying also somehow reduces it by 25% or so of max durability (doesn’t count overrepairs from Squire).

Attacking and moving around somehow also contributes to the decay, but at a very slow rate.

From my experience, successful blocks using a shield will only decrease the shield’s durability, meaning if you block a lot, expect your other equipment to be fairly intact. Also, successful dodges will not decrease your armor’s durability.

I also want to add that if you fail to block, all of your other equipment, except your shield will have their durability reduced - I could be wrong so please don’t quote me on this.

Ring and amulett durability only decreases on magic damage as far as a chaplain duel showed me

know you guys mentions it seem my durability plummets same with my bracelet and necklace when facing against magic mobs, probably coz of the damage taken.

Thanks a lot guys for clearing up this one me. :grinning:

As a mage that rarely gets hit I don’t need to repair armor for at least 6 dungeon runs. Only weapons.
