Back in the day you would just add another item with the same number of stars, how about now?
I found out, just need to be same level and type item, it will cost one potential and has a chance of adding or subtracting a random value between (0%?) to 12%(if lv15) to your weapon min and max attkl, the chances of adding or not are not the same for min and max, i mean if you roll -5.5% to your min attack, it doesnt mean you will have -5.5% to your max attack too, they are calculated separately.
If this skill didnt use potential i could see me leveling it to max, for now i believe its better leaving at one just for the skin change attribute.
Extremely dumb that you can’t reskin a weapon to a weapon of a different level TBH. I want a golden falchion to go with my manamana.
I have a Catacomb Pike but I hate its appearance. Conversely, I love the look of the Benesda (which was my previous weapon) which is very fitting with my Lancer costume (as well as with Cataphract costume).
Today, I finally found an alchemist agreeing to try to change the appearance of my weapon, but it proved impossible. Despite the removal of the stars on the equipment, the restriction is still there (The trick of putting the weapon of appearance before the real weapon in the interface has been fixed). Total disappointment …
What is the point of this restriction ? This is a cosmetic feature. Not seeing the true appearance of the weapon has absolutely no impact, except possibly in PvP. For this case, it is surely possible to make reappear the true appearance for the duration of the match.
This restriction really rotted this skill …
aww crud this sucks. i just leveled an alchemist c3 just to change the appareance of my didel tower shield to cavalry shield since i like the design of those shields.
devs really cant reconsider this?
I thought they fixed that and allowed you to briq lower starred weapons as skins to higher starred ones?
Nope. For example in my case, the Catacomb Pike had 6 stars and the Benesda had 5 stars before the patch. But even now, the restriction is still there …
That’s strange…I could’ve sworn there was an official post about this a while back. What error message did you get when you tried to briq?
It wasn’t me who had the error message but the alchemist to whom I lent my weapons. But when she tried, she received the usual message “level of sacrificial weapon have to be higher”
could someone teach me how to use briquetting…
step by step…
sorry really new in alch branch O_O
I also understand that i need the attribute to change appearance
so im good… in that part,
i wanted to understand how to change the appearance of a weapon…
thanks… i just see 2 boxes a big one in the upper center and a small box in lower center… with a +arrow on the middle… and calcite for the process… so hot change the appearance of a weapon now? couz im hesitant to risk a 4 slot losing a 4 slot Q_Q
or better yet could someone make a video of it on the latest…patch… i’m more of a view and copy learner than being explained learner…
Big > Main item
Small > The one with the appearance you want (must be same type and same level)
As someone said before, its totally RETARDED that you cant change the appearance from your weapon to a low level one, THIS IS A COSMETIC THING, why IMC tought it was a good idea to add such an stupid restriction? do they even realize that people then would be actually interested on getting “good looking low level weapons” just for this skill alone? jesus christ… they dont ever stop to amaze me… i really mean it
bring this to light.
what is the hell the purpose of change the appearance of a item, if it has to be the same level as the weapom that will be sacrificed ???
