I’m currently using this path and rest assured that you’ll be hitting any and all monster without having to put a point in dex.
I haven’t put a single point in it and I haven’t noticed any lack of accuracy (even on mobs much higher than me). Dex is used more to increase evasion and critical rate, which are things you do not need.
Yes, aspergillium is considered a magic attack. However, it cannot trigger damage if your target dodges you. The same goes for sacrament and last rites. You need to land a hit in order to trigger their damage.
And again, I reassure you. You will always hit your target even if you don’t have a single point in dex. The only time I started noticing a lack in accuracy is when I PvP with high leveled, Dex hoarding archers and swordies.
Anyway, with regards to plague doctor, I love it. The bloodletting is so useful at keeping your party immune in maps and dungeons with monsters that freeze or silence you. And in PvE, you can always have the skill up 100% of the time. But I suggest only using it when necessary because of the buff limit.
Healing factor is also amazing especially when timed properly. My tanks never die whenever they receive healing factor. Needs to be timed right though, a lot of swordies aren’t too bright. They jump away from safety wall, avoid my healing factor, are blind to my heal tiles, etc. It’s a full time job taking care of them. Especially when they don’t know how to play in a team.
So, I hope I put your mind at ease. And one last thing, if you’re going full support, I say shave some point out of incineration and add them up to healing factor and blood letting for 100% uptime with divine might. You’re not really a damage dealer but a supporter. You might as well go big or go home. Don’t get me wrong, incineration is a great damage dealing skill but… I digress
