Hey guys! just a question how do you guys like the soundtrack? i love the fact that the soundtrack sounds cool and exciting in game. it isnt amazing but it is alot better than the other OST"s ive heard from other MMO’s like GW2 which just made me want to switch off the music. I did love the voice overs of the NPC’s but there OST was very bad. I suggest that they should have at least 1 calm and soothing track on TOS haha for those chill times.
It’s simply amazing! I think in like 10 years when i’ll listen to this song again, i’ll feel a Strong nostalgia!

The soundtrack is gorgeous. One of the best there is in gaming and considering how many great soundtracks there are, this is quite the feat. My favorite track so far is this one:

Soundtracks are essential for any game… And they did a really great job in TOS! I’m listening to it right now. But still, I prefer RO ones, even though some of them were made by SoundTeMP too! I feel something that I can’t explain with words… /lala
btw, 3rd Wave is my favorite till now
I like most of them, but there are some that simply not fit well (i don’t like those songs too much anyway) with the map thematic like some house/dance or hard rock themes.
My favorite is Reborn Devilizer 
Like the RO soundtrack I imagine I will listen to this until the day I die.
But music enjoyment highly depends on what associated with it. So I hope ToS delivers.
One of the reasons RO soundtrack was so good is that I have literally a memory associated with each track.
I can tell you oh I remember that one time when I was new and tried to miserably cross from Geffen to Prontera I was totally lost ended up in the orc village it was hilarious.

Hands down this. First time I walked into “Passage of the Recluse”, I was like whoa. I had to sit and listen to the whole track in that really nice safe zone.

I like Chariots of Fire, Mildred Miles, and The Die is Cast.
In general, the soundtrack is good, but it’d be nice to have more upbeat/mellow music. After a while, the soundtrack begins to become one big blur. 70% of the songs feel intense. That’s not a bad thing, but too much is… too much. I think they would fit better in climatic scenes found in anime or movies rather than in an MMO where I’ll be hearing them on loop for hours while grinding.
Based on watching vids so far, I think few BGMs --maybe less than 10, will be memorable regarding the maps they’re used in.
-Edit: I meant Charty of Fire rather than Chariots of Fire… Although I like the latter too.
Edit 2: Argh I mean Milden Miles not Mildred… Can’t spell today.
It isn’t bad, but it isn’t good either.
I liked the majority of the music. My two complaints would be that dungeon music seems too… techno-y. Like, its not awful but it just feels really out of place. Also the Roxona Market/Verkti Square/Ruklys Street area, the music is WAY too upbeat sounding. Like, I don’t want to spoil anything for people who haven’t been there but happy upbeat music does not fit that place at all.
