They know about all these major problems, they know what they are doing, they just don’t want to tell you, because they can’t instantly fix everything and you may not understand or don’t accept their path.

Look at how many time they changed their plans because most players don’t like their decision

Meh,and I’m struggling with that.

The design and artwork of the game.Right up my alley.

That they launched an international version at all if it was going to end up this way.

I would change plenty,but to avoid getting too ranty I’ll summarize: TP would have been available by now,there would be more staff in general and on weekends,swordsman branch tweaked appropriately,and on the funner side I’d expand the farming and put in a super cool housing system.

My main is level 178 almost 179,but I’m playing on alts as well.

I like the game yes.

Like: all the artistic stuff, player-sided combat (monster AI/response times could use some work), class system despite all the flaws

Dislike: the management to some extent, how it feels like an alpha a bit, how repetitive the game can get.

Changes: Asides from bugfixes and optimization and all that jazz, swordie rebalances. Uh, I’d like for more up-in-your-face thematics, I think they did try with the way some of the quests activate but I guess it just doesn’t have the weight somehow? Basically, I’d love if quests were more memorable. Also, I’d revamp the UI to be less giant and clunky.

Social aspects, I’d love a buddychat system and a dumb little marriage system too. MMO marriages in KR games were always silly and fun to watch.

I’m currently at 231, takin it real slow from here on out. I sort of hope I can excuse myself from grinding until new content is added hehh so I don’t have to drag myself through the awful sounding field grind. I typically love grinding and in a way I miss it but I don’t want to deal with channel switching.

I like the class complexity the most.
That the game pretty much never feels rewarding to play.
I would change the korean development team with a western one that cares.
Team is something like 250/205/195/142/100 and they didn’t level up for roughly 3 weeks.

What do you love the most? - The artwork on the characters in this game is out of this world and fantastic I’ve never seen anything like it before. Oh, and Saule.

What do you hate the most? - Uhm right now my biggest hate/issue is NPC chat lags (like it takes a few seconds when I press spacebar to interact with something or speak to an NPC)

What would you add/change, if anything? - Uhm…add in a few more features for people without Tokens? Or at least temporarily since tokens cannot be bought yet. EDIT: Okay well please please add voice-overs for characters…especially Saule

Currently lv80ish in-game. I do like the aesthetic and visuals. Really nice to look at, nyes. Also the sheer amount of maps to explore. Sometimes surprises me with a boss battle or a quest line that piques my interest for the moment. Or, like a earlier, my first encounter with a world boss. It was as laggy as I imagined it would be.

…But aside from that, a whole lot of things are just ā€œeh, it’s okayā€ and even more so ā€œwhy’d they even do thatā€. Mostly about the way they designed the maps. As I enjoy exploring, and the game does have a lot of maps to explore, I tend to go around the map first before doing the quests on that map. And again and again, I’m frustrated that they put so much restriction on jumping over obstacles. Like there’s a simple ledge and under it is the npc I need to talk to but nope, can’t jump down, need to go through the normal way via the stairs all the way down the path… Well, really, that’s a nitpick of mine. I just want them to make it so that I could jump down a ledge if they are visibly connected in the world.

Well, that’s my experience with it so far. Anything I’d want them to add or change? A lot of things, which mostly are already mentioned by others. Personally? I just want to jump down that ledge man. Give me my shortcuts! And, well, make the boss fights interesting. Also the quests more… interesting. Well, basically, make the experience more interesting!

Love: Music, art, class diversity (not all my chars are meta builds), general content, story.

Hate: Too many issues with servers, lack of pvp, FPS drop in GvG, players attitude.

Add/change: More pvp, optimizarion.

fix the game first before thinking mor content
if they can make the game less linear, no one will complain about late game content because people will be willing to reroll

Music, Combat, Art Design, and Class design concept*

Well… atm the trading restrictions annoy me.

Where the heart of my text will lie. goes onto the ā€œClass Design Concept*ā€. I feel like they have blueprints spread for the Swordsman class in particular. as in they set out the guiidelines on how they will be later on, but atm they do feel like they are in their ā€œprotoā€ state. the Swordsman class lacks uniqueness/individuality in the game, to the point where their only identity later is a circle of a rank they MUST take at rank 2. and the sad part is, this is the only useful class in the entire Swordsman tree. So much so, you can literally get only one rank of this class, never rank up but hit lv 250+ and people wont ever ask if you’re a ā€œDoppleā€ or a ā€œDragoonā€ or a ā€œShinobiā€ because they are all garbage in comparison to anything the cleric, archer or wizard has. This is moreso the issue than Swashbuckling being a requirement for Swordsman. If the Swordsman tree wasnt so universely bad, people wouldnt ask for ā€œPeltasiaā€ 24/7 only and would accept Swordsman who chose to prue dps in their parties.

My solution is to ā€œFinishā€ the blueprints of the classes. for one, add damage and str / dex scaling to the majority of their classes. if not that, then at least any circle 3 ability, and rank 6-7 classes. Abilities that rely on some sort of Ailment to deal damage should be able to be inflicted on bosses. im looking at you Barbarian. you cant stun bosses which makes your kit lose quite a bit of viability damage wise. There’s also many bugs in general to fix about the swordsman, namely corsair/shinobi/dragoon to make them work properly. but i imagine Shinobi is the closest thing to a ā€œcompleteā€ class in concept if it had no bugs. very high risk and high reward, and seems like it’d be the most damaging swordsman of the tree .

Id also add overheats and lower the cooldowns of pretty much any swordsman ability. with those 2 things, and damage scaling they would do extremely fine. heck, just completely overhaul them and do it correctly i say.

my closing thoughts: i get that this is a successor to the late RO , and ive never played it. but ive heard its ā€œhardcoreā€ and yoyu need to do research before you decide what you want to do. and some of the worst advice you can give to a person starting as a swordsman is when asked what the best class build is, to respond ā€œthere is no best buildā€ because this is a lie, and is highly misleading. the best build for us is to have C1 Peltasia. Least for now, i can see the game having potential and im sure we’ll get that rehaul on Swordsman. that is what im plenty sure imc is up to right now.

Do you love it? Hate it? Meh? So far even with all of the bugs I love it.

What do you love the most? That’s it’s similar to Ragnarok in many ways and in not so many.

What do you hate the most? That Team storage isn’t free and you can’t buy class/circle/job reset like the stat and skill resets.

What would you add/change, if anything? Increase exp rates, free team storage, regulate spawn times, add a world boss timer on the UI and new bosses are viewable as you level up, add a circle reset in the TP Trader, hire workers to focus on anti-cheat software…

Everything except game screen (artwork) is garbage. IMC should lay off those lazy and unresponsive staffs (probably it will go bankruptcy then)

In short though:

Do I love it? Yes.
What do I love the most? Classes and customization. There’s so many options.
What do I hate the most? Customer Service. They really need to rethink the way they handle customers through support tickets and allow people to reply back. That’s pretty irksome.
What would you add/change, if anything? There’s a few things, but I really want to see Swordsman balanced.
What’s my max character? Two Fencers, but built differently and the 161 one basically being a reroll, 185 & 161. Looking forward to finally breaching 200 content and going crazy with all the other swordies.

Love this game so far, however it feels like its in maintenance mode already. Lots of things need addressing, game needs money hello TP? My first korean mmorpg, so not sure if these super slow updates is the norm or what? Korea seems to be getting nice updates weekly, we have zero communication with IMC right now.

Love the most: Music, nostalgia, and a true upgrade of Ragnarok

Hate the most: Not enough mobs to grind farm for, some dungeons give crap for exp, I wouldn’t mind if the dungeons were not limited. But a limited crap for rewards raids and dungeons are just, well, crappy.

I would change the drop system if the mob rate would remain the same. Higher drop rate to make up the lack of mob rate, or increase the mob rate to bullet hell frequency lol!

At the moment I am maining Archer of The Red, the manliest archer of all Orsha, level 210…
