How do I backup the game?

I want to uninstall then reinstall the game but I dont want to lose my in game progress

You won’t lose any progress. Everything is saved to your Tree of Savior (steam) account so you can uninstall/install whenever. The only thing you may lose is your settings/keybindings.

If you want to be sure to keep them you can go to “Steam\SteamApps\common\TreeOfSavior\release” and make a copy of user.xml plus all hotkey_xxx.xml files.
