How did this happen!?

No, my deal is I’m providing feedback and not actually seeing a response, so I feel I’m ignored. I’ve not heard of ANY response, so it really doesn’t seem like they care. Then, we got people like you defending the silence which is seriously screwing with testing in general. A lot of players have been unable to function in tests for a week or so, and there’s a point where “They’re trying” doesn’t cut it.
It’s like getting mad at doctors who tell the patients they’re too fat to be healthy.

Someone would get fired for this if this were here, because it’s bad service and a loss of potential income to be letting things die like this on the production front.

lolololololololololololololololol WOT ahahahahaha

I’ve read the tl;dr version of your post… even by my standards it is too long.

All I can say from that is , ppl have a right to REFUSE to play a game if they choose so.
They also have the right to REFUSE to play with another race, even if it’s racist. On a personal level that’s their choice. Making racist remarks however I agree is extremely uncool.

Anyways You keep coming back to this idea of “community” and maybe you’re right we need to be a nice happy ever smiling family.
The truth is tho,we are all unique individuals.
No individual should be FORCED into playing something they cannot endure.
I personally don’t see a problem, because I’m flithy rich Ingame atm. However god bless newcomers , I can imagine them barely getting enough gold for a couple of pots and a tp scroll (once they run out of the initial ones). Also Rip Priests.

not sure about you, but am still wise, kind and all around awesome…

Too long to read, waiting for the movie.

And I thought my wall of text was bad  15 Ideas to Make This Game GREAT + My Thoughts

That post is very well formatted … and technically isn’t that long considering it is 4 posts combined into
Honestly even an unintelligent person can read it in 2-3 minutes. Just read the Bold parts.

That’s why I carefully did the bolding

To OP: If you want the community to read, format and bold your post better

Reading your suggestions I feel your experience of the game is a bit limited.

For example the game isn’t actually that linear. It really opens up and gets really interesting around lvl 70.
Unfortunately the grind gets really bad at the same time.
At level 70 you will be practically hopping between 3 or 4 locations. doing some main quest some side quests. Some dungeons. There are maps that you can do that YOU yourself have to fund out about. Either by talking with other players or researching.

Back on Topic. I think a lot of people just need to realize IMC is very short on manpower and might actually be in over their heads for this CBT.

I remember them talking to us at Github on a Saturday(Sunday in Korea) that they had “not enough hands on deck” lol even with that schedule.

@Edward I dunno how far you’ve played but getting to level 173 like me and you’ll see how the game kinda only branches out at the level 60-70s. only to crunch back into one line after level 130.

kinda like this -----------=========-------=====> (it branches out again around level 170)

Well all they need to do is communicate that they are going to take their time with this , no?
I mean we’re mostly adults here, right? Or at least I’d like to believe that we are.

Edit: Yes well It’s clear that quests stop at lvl 150 completely.
Imo with the exp rates as they are now IMC ensures that not a lot of ppl will see the post lvl100 content.
I’m at 111 myself however I watch my brother play also and he is lvl 155 , It didn’t look too linear up to that point.
I’m having a blast in the Mage Tower atm, I think it’s the highlight of the game so far.

Put yourself in IMC shoes, lets imagine the developers make a slip up and all IMC can do is wait for them to fix it, do you want them to tell the players, put the blame on the creators ?

Sorry to everyone else, I knew the post was to long, even when I typed it… Ill make it shorter when I reread it all. For now I bolded a couple points I wanted to make.

The way I see it, regardless of the game, there will always be that group of entitled people who always complain at every opportunity.

I agree with what you said, IMC is very limited and to see the amount of work they put in this game so it can get released is very very awesome and that alone has my respect. It really gets on my nerve when I see people complaining about small mistakes IMC made, comeon now it’s the Beta mistakes are suppose to happen. IMC was nice enough to let EVERYONE who signed up between the 16-19 a guaranteed spot at the Beta. The day after the deadline, people complain saying “WTH YOU SHOULD OF SENT US A MAIL OR NOTIFICATION” I mean seriously now, it’s your fault for not checking the game every so often. If you were really hyped for this game, you’d be checking it every day of the week. Sorry I had to let it all out.

People need some more Bob Ross in their life.

People want to have their way and their way alone. They want to be fed, taken care of, and be satisfied at the same time; CBT isn’t a place for such people. It is sad that we, the community, have such people who thinks a CBT is a place where they can truly “experience the game” when its the time where you can find bugs, request add-ons in the game and mostly importantly, making connections. In every CBT I’ve ever played, I don’t really take the whole leveling system seriously; I wish to savor every level and go slowly while making contact with the people I play with. Once OBT starts, these people who I’ve befriended during CBT are those whom I call companions who are going on the same journey as me. Without them, I truly would’ve left the game a long time ago. For me, a game is not a game without its community. One thinks that a game is something that’s just a one stop trip for fun, that is not the case. It is by connecting to people that makes a game fun; I even had fun playing a certain game that experiences gold inflation every time the level cap is increased(seriously, an item from 5 gold 3 years ago costs 50 gold last time I checked. And you need *at least *15 of these things every time you enhance your item to at least make your item unbreakable). ToS is far from a perfect game because its community is far from having its own problems patched up. Surely, we don’t need another Big Wall of Text such as the one above(took me a while to read it, but seriously… Its better to keep your posts at max 2 paragraphs in order to even keep me from reading).

say what you want to say without holding back…

if people read it or not is our problem.

:stuck_out_tongue:

People don’t change MMORPG’s mechanics. They change the feeling of the game. Do you know what makes friends on an MMORPG? A friend list. Parties. Whiserping. All of those are broken. It’s their fault.
