How bad is a monk-doctor in pvp? I mean, how but is just MONK c2?

hi,
I just want to stop on Monk c2 on Rank 6 and on Rank 7 take Plague Doctor for personal purposes (I know that in pvp will be more a support member)

I already saw videos of monk c2 doing high damage on pvp, but on this videos we never now if it was before monk be nerfed (from the first beta) or if really worth it. So I apreciate if someone tell me how actually it is right now.

Monk C3 isn’t that great compare to Monk C2.Look at the scaling and you will see.The core factor of Monk DPS increase is the attributes and not the levels of the skill.

Monk C3 benefits over Monk C2

  • More damage on Energy Blast and it’s duration
  • Golden Bell
  • More dot damage/duration in 1 Inch Punch
  • Slightly more DPS on Double Punch
  • Solo player

Monk C2/Plague Doctor

  • Immunity over rank 1,2 and 3 aliment status (Down time 10 seconds if Bloodletting and Beak Mask max level 5) <— Ktos nerf
  • More survivability with Healing Factor
  • Cleanse Raise with Fumigate and rank 1-3 aliment status <— Ktos changes
  • Team player

But of course try to get Monk C3 later on the other ranks if possible.The new classes “MAY” require Monk C3…who knows.

if you want dps go full dps

If your main one of them

PVP go PD
PVE go Monk 3

If you love PVP and PVE equally then pick whichever.

Can you control monk that’s channeling Golden Bell? Like give him a stun/hook or smth to interrupt casting?

You can move him/her out of Golden Bell with

  • Telepath
  • Swap
  • Raise

There is a lot more but I don’t want to share everything…

How does Monk-Plague Doctor perform on PvE? is incinerate a better DPS skill compared to going monk3

Nope I don’t use Incinerate,I choose Monk-Plague Doctor for mainly PVP but I do also enjoy PVE.

In fact Druid fit me more, but I get caught on the same doubt: will I lose too much if I give up M3?

For real. Every place I go I see lots of monks. How many monks you guys are seeing specially on Guild vs Guild?? (Just for curiosity).

Take PD or druid as monk, make your rank 7+ way easier. PD or druid hit hard in pve, more than monk c3, but later, a monk c3 + rank8 class will be better because you are not going to get INT so your damage from druid and PD will be poor little by little.

Besides energy blast monk c3 + divine might + suncus = energy blast lv 13 hehe, that hit so hard!!

Agreeded. But Energy Blast is limited to LV 10.
It would be usefull is someone let the Skills at the LV 7 and them get LV 10 with this, to put more points on others skills.

this is incorrect you can get energy blast to at least level 15

I’m was with the same doubt. What I’m doing is waiting for the rank 8 classes. Then I will decide. Because I think will be like the fella said:

And not only because of the INT stats, but, also C1 rank 8 classes might have diferent gameplay styles. That may fit into a monk c3 (I don’t think its going to happen) and not that well with the monk c2 + plague. So I think we have to wait :3
Until that I’m creating other characters :3

No, you can get more than lv10 energy blast with divine might, so imagine the difference between energy blast c3 lv 13 and energy blast c2

Yep, besides plague doctor will have c2 and c3, and as monk I am not interested in be getting more plague doctor circles.

So even if its weaker now, if you like monk, get c3 monk and lets see what come later

Think about monster gem, there is no reason for this gems if you cant get more than max skill level 10/15

Anyway we are here to learn about the game
