How are people trading in shout?

-you can’t trade silver(put money in the trade window).
-you can’t put token in the trade window

so how are people still selling or buying things? Did I miss something?

You can trade for an item that is worth a certain amount on the AH.
For example, if you want 200k for whatever item you’re selling, you can trade it for a weapon that sells at around that price on the auction house.

Trading between items, will be the norm.
