It is not possible to use a lower level weapon as a skin for a higher level weapon, a few months back it was possible, but IMC always mess everything

Maybe they made the item during that time? That’s the best explanation I can think of right now. I tested it out on my Alchemist as well and it still won’t let me place lower level items there, so it’s not bugged again as far as I can tell.
Oh yeah i forgot change appearance is rank8 attribute which comes along with practo weapon
