For QS class, we use the kneel shooting very often. sometime I use kneel shooting inside the mob. After kill them all, I just waiting re-spawn and press Z to kill them all again. And in this condition , sometime I fall into sleep in midnight, and my finger still press on Z… Do I will be banned?
Just saw other topic who use something to hold Z and got banned.
But how about use finger to press Z long time- -?
If he really not a bot, how can he be banned from this?
Some people put a weight on Z. I’m not sure that is against the terms or not, but most people who get banned use some kind of macro to press Z and change direction as the same time.
I saw some one doing the same thing, and clearly wrote

when you fall asleep there’s no way you can retain the energy to press keyboard key, keyboard key is not as light as a feather.
its hardly even possible for various reasons: physical, physiological, mechanical etc.

Everyone that quote that part seem to not realize that it doesnt contain IMC’s stance on that matter. Only that their automated system would not flag them as potential bots. IF player receives enough reports IMC would have to investigate and administer a proper punishment manually which they probably did and were correct doing so.
What it implies is that those kinds of players should be reported by other means to not hurt your own RII.
No one cares, when you get 50-100 reports you will be banned
but they actually can’t punish people for that
since you can’t really proof that the people are not actually playing, he’s not using a macro nor any illegal software or modified data
if they can check whether player shooting things is afk OR if it is obvious that “Z” is not the only thing that is being used they will probably administer ban. Logic is simple: actions performed without human interaction are automation > automation is main characteristic for robots or bots in short > hence any game automation can be considered a bot.

No one ever said you have to interact or acknowledge people. I have people ask me if im a bot when i am grinding and i just ignore them and continue on, and i have not been banned. Probably because im not afk z attacking and actually playing.
with players? no. With IMC employees that came to perform a check on you (if they dont have enough evidence yet) - yes:

and it don’t say the answer needs to be immediate, i could answer any inquires 30 min later and claim i was wasn’t reading the chat
unless they move you somewhere else on the map and you keep attacking nothing for some time or they put anvil (or some other object) in front of you and you keep attacking that ignoring monsters that spawned and if you switch monsters and still ignore GM then you are using macro.

Or they just stand near you with text message (!! one so you cannot claim you have chat bubbles disabled) above their head asking to PM them. If you fail to do so for … lets say 5 min - you are proven afk-botting.
