Hoplite Finestra Skill - Does the effect disappear when you swap to another weapon?

Hi,

As per topic - I was considering a fencer build; so I was just wondering if the Hoplite Finestra skill will disappear if you try to swap to a rapier+dagger/ utilize a skill for rapier+dagger?

Finestra buff works only with spears. The buff disappears as soon as you have wrong weapon equipped.
