Hopefully not a stupid question

Hi, I’ve seen a lot of people talking about this 1:1 trade with tokens but what exaclty does that mean? (sorry if I sound stupid :c )

Well, for now and only as far as we understand, trading between characters is limited to people who have purchased tokens (basically VIP membership) either from the cash shop or on the auction house and applied it to their account.

 It’s ok to ask questions! We don’t have full details on how this is going to work because they have said that there will be differences between the Korean and International versions but there is a lot of debate going on right now between community members. Tonight, once the staff is up, I’d recommend checking back for more information.

1:1 (one to one) trading is trading between players using a traditional trade window. As an attempt to “stop” or at least make a bit of money off of bots, IMC has chosen to prevent players without the Token from trading directly with others.

Iirc, it is absolutely necessary for both players to have the Token in order to trade directly.

oh now I see why everyone is complaining, thanks a lot for the answers!

even token 1:1 trade is limited (or was limited?)

  1. you cannot trade silver
  2. you cannot trade silver-related components - silver and gold bars, talt(?)
  3. every item ingame has “potency” and it will lose one during trade.

Consumables and crafting materials can only be traded once, so you cannot gather them from you other characters and then sell or trade again, or re-sell things you bought from market.

Stupid is never asking something…

Also, the magnifying glass looking icon on top right let you search for posts or threads…

you can use it to see if other people had the same question and solutions to your questions

Every item? Isn’t it every equipment? Or do common items also have Potency/Potential? Oh man…

Doesn’t quite answer my question, I’m afraid. But to answer your uncertainties:
It won’t lose Potency with the regular character storage.

What I’m asking is if all items have Potency (instead of just equipment, as I thought).

Every item. Non equipment items basically have 1 potential only. Even stackables and recipes.

In iCBT there was a workaround for that, but they fixed it by removing feature that was used for workaround.

As far as we know this also applies to shared storage…which is just ■■■■.

Dang. So even all the materials I gather can only be transferred once? That’s harsh… I said it in other places before, I am now okay with these limitations on trading with other people… But transferring between your own character shouldn’t have these limitations!

It’s not even as far as we know. It’s been confirmed that the Team storage basically works just like trading items to other people. i.e.:

  1. Items will lose 1 Potency/Potential
  2. No Silver transferral
  3. Some items are banned, like the Stat and Skill reset potions

So, yeah…that just sucks. I hope many people will notice this and “start talking” about it. The potential loss kinda kills many aspects of the game for me right now…

Yeah, definitely. If I made a Cannoneer with great gear (that has no Potential left due to upgrades) but I made a mistake in my Stats, I would actually be willing to remake my character to rectify it if I could at least keep my gear. Crafting items with your crafting class to use for your other classes is also discouraged because of this system. And what if I make a truckload of money; I’d wanna be able to use that money with all my characters instead of it being locked to one who might not need it at all

Yeah! Exactly! I had plans to collect gems and crafting materials etc with one of my chars and then use the shared storage to give it to my other chars…scrap those plans.

Thanks for the advice, but I usually search everything before posting in the forum… I didn’t find anything, so sorry if there was another one that explain my question :c
