still having a great dilemma right now, and i never had the chance to test things out during cbt, so as titled i would like to ask fellow players out there for some opinion of having lv1 or lv5 Spear Throw
I haven’t used Spear Throw yet but most people will recommend having at least 1 in Spear Throw, while others will tell you to max it. The reason why people use it and some people even level it to 5 is because as Hoplites we have tremendously long cooldowns on almost all our skills, the exception being Spear Throw since it has 0 cooldown. I’d recommend at least getting level 1 in it because we need filler skills inbetween cooldowns of other skills and that’s what Spear Throw does for us.
EDIT: Ah, level 1 or level 5. I’d say bring it to 5 since you’ll be spamming it while other skills are on cooldown. I don’t think you’ll need the skill points in any other skills since Stabbing and Finestra should be 15/15, the rest is up to you but I’d recommend Spear Throw Lv5.
This is how I planned on doing it 14/15 stabbing 15/15 pierce/finestra 1/5 spear lunge. Spear lunge’s debuff seemed kind of good, but its duration is kind of a small window.
yea, spear lunge only has 6seconds debuff no matter what level it is…
quite agree on what you’d recommend, i just turned hop1 tried Pierce, goodness no charges no second chances once we miss the target really do have to consider bout it but it may be crucial for dragoon with few other attribute and factor of Pierce for end game bossing 
I’m doing something simmlar to rick, but swap stabbing and pierce, while pierce does a single huge hit, stabbing does far more damage overall and also has a slightly lower cooldown. Use the pierce debfuf then stabbing wrecks pretty much anything for me.
