Did you just waste 3 ranks so that you can get 2 skills: stabbing and pierce?
All other hoplite’s skills either require a shield or a spear, or both. None works with fencer rapier + dagger
It is a pretty potent combo thats for sure, but way too much of a one trick pony. Spear Lunge > Swap into Coquille > Prep > Stab dat azz into oblivion. As i see it the only thing it has above Coquille > Prep > Sept is that Spear Lunge debuff. Decisions decisions, but yeah it might be pretty viable for boss killing or trash mob clearing. Pair it up with a high AoE ratio imo.
