Hop2 or Dragoon2?

Hello, first time new topic here…

So, I chose the path of CataGoon from the beginning, following Cathexis’ (did I spelt the name right?) guide as gospel. Am at lvl 230 now and ever since I became Cata 2 I was wondering how come I wasn’t doing as much damage as my Hop 3 counterparts in dungeon runs, but was rather useful in other stuff (I.e. luring mobs, mini stunning mobs with rush, etc…) Then I went searching this forum and came to the sad realisation that my build was not for PVE… But PVP…

But with rank 8 coming out soon (?)… I was just wondering whether should i take this opportunity to add hop2 to my arsenal with 100% Finestra uptime? Or should I be more utility base with Dragoon 2?

let me guess, you went pel hop cata 3 dgoon lolz

this is actually a hybrid of pvp and pve. with that build i’d probably go dragoon c2.

Gonna agree with that, if your focus is PvE go Dragoon 2, no point wasting a rank 8 circle for a rank 4 class. Plus Dragoon C2 will give you more damage from all your draogon skills and 100% melee buff.

Yeah, I was like “Oh, mount! I can sweep through quests while dealing mounted damage like a Lord Knight from RO”… but nope… cruel meta of ToS crushed me

True, so I’ve heard about the 100% buff… I just wonder how long it’ll last tho (hopefully it’s more than 10 sec as per the screenshot shown)
