I was wanting to try out the following build:
I wanted to know exactly how powerful Aspergillum is. I want to make an anti-undead type character which hits hard with AA. I was thinking of Pally, but the idea of having a pure SPR based character, seemed to arouse my interest. The problem being I intend to rely on Aspergillum a lot, but I haven’t read any proper review on its damage making it meh in my mind.

Uh… I guess I should have been clearer, I intend on going full spr. Using deprotected + blessings and sac till chaplain, then using spr powered Aspergillum for damage.
Aspergillum does your Aspersion’s damage on each attack (once per attack, as an extra hit). So it’s damage is directly affected by your Aspersion’s skill level, as well as INT, SPR.
It’s your largest single source of damage as a Chaplain.
How is the damage affected by int? Isn’t asperdion spr scaled?
All magic abilities also gain increased damage from your MATK.
Lets say your Aspersion damage is 200 including the SPR bonus, but your MATK is 400.
The tooltip will only say 200, but it will deal 600 damage. That damage is then further boosted by your attribute %, up to 1200 damage if the attribute is at 100(%).
(INT adds to MATK)
No, the damage is affected by int and spr. With int u gain also more cure and scales also better thx to the 10% increase For ranks. U can go both spr and int with a bit of con Like 2 int 1 spr 1 con.
Is the scaling for Int and Spr the same for Aspersion? I personally intend on exploiting the skills that increase with SPR personally.
I changed my build to :
The idea is to use a large SPR to gain a lot of damage and buffs. This is theory crafting, but should cause the damage to peak easily. I am putting points in cure and heal just coz I had some left over. Honestly I have intention of healing ever outside of using Revive and relying on high bonus from stone skin and increase magic defense for survival.
Im not yet chaplain so i Cant say For certain if ia worth going ful spr or full int, or also 1:1. Int i think scales better thx to the ranks bonus so if u go spirit u r losing dps, with spirit u gain lots of utility with mass heal and Stone skin. I dont know really what is best, just remember dat int have more scaling.
