what if you hire 1 person for each server to be a bot killer?
like you pay them like a normal employee their job everyday is to log in and run around, insta banning people that spams selling silver and people that macros in hunting areas and coasts and dinabee or whatever.
his job is to kill (deleting the account of) these bots and macros.
hell i’d sign up for that.
nevermind i think it’s much more objective if its someone not from the community. just a regular employee.
been asked before and they even created a boss that appears and hunt down and kill bots…
but guess what is the flaw, you waste your time and bot just return to it place undisturbed with nothing of worth truly lost…
to much powers for human hands, not wise to give to anyone…
only the kupole/GM have that power and even then I do not trust them with it

the boss that kills has a gigantic flaw, anything that is automated is flawed.
which is why i want people to do it, its so easy to spot this spamming silver seller at least.
why don’t you address that part? okay say the macro and stuff is hard to take care of.
but the silver seller is easy enough.
imagine the silver seller kept getting blocked the moment they spew their first spam. i think over a long period of time it will discourage them.

I have killed, blocked and warped my fair share of bots and they all do the same, go back to the spot you took them from instantly…
only the ban hammer can remove a bot/spammer from the game…
well then ban them, how can we mistake the wrong person from being a silver seller? that at least cannot be mistaken.
but sadly there can be abuse…
are you serious dude, it’s a person being hired just to ban a specific people doing specific thing, like spamming website to buy silver. how would that person abuse it?
well make a permaban a freeze then, it permanently bans the account but the account info is saved so if SOMEHOW that person being hired is an idiot and banned the wrong people it can be rolled back.
though the idea of the abuse is so incomprehensible in my eyes, except that person plays the game himself and have a reason to abuse it. else he wouldn’t risk the job.

This has been a problem since launch and they probably thought of this simple solution by themselves already, but they just won’t.
Current staff manually banning them is supposed to be ok but they’re not doing it consistently. It took like 3+ months to get Frundsberg(famous telsiai bot) and xxUchihaxx (another famous telsiai bot) got away with it unscathed.

Perhaps you have not seen how bots roam and ravage the lands in their prime. Every map used to have one resident bot party combing up and down.
Staff Francis was the the one killing the bots most of the time , and guess they are busy with Re;Build atm.
