I really want to build a DPS PvP Doppel (manly points in STR and some in DEX) , but I don’t want to end up with a glass cannon and i’m really in doubt on what I should do. Should I go Swordsman>High>BarbC3>Doppel
or Swordsman>Peltasta>BarbC3>Doppel. Thx for reading and sorry for the English btw
You can try something like
Sword 3 > Barb 2 > Doppel
Sword 3 > Barb 1 > Corsair > Doppel
HL3 > Corsair > Doppel
HL>Barb 3 works but you have a lower chance to stagger archers with cross guard, lower PB and no restrain.

Peltasta isn’t terribly useful outside of PVE unless you’re specifically building for evasion, which since you’re building for Doppel won’t be the most optimal path.
Highlander will be more useful since Cartar Stroke is very powerful even at low levels to say the least, though Swordsman 3 is generally the best PVP path since you get more Pain Barrier and Restrain for stun.

dps and pvp don’t go together, if you want to pvp with a doppel anytway at least get a sword 3, and 70-100 con is the minimum.
That’s all really i have to say, since doppel won’t be very successful at pvp in my experience, especially without a sword 3 circle.
And as i said at the beginning in order to pvp well you don’t really need the highest dps, if dps was the concern in pvp wizards and clerics wouldn’t go full con and still be in the top 10 in TBL.
IMHO if you really want to pvp with a swordsman you should make some corsair or swordsman 3 oriented build, maybe something with corsair murmilo, you can also do cataphract builds dragoon c2 or lancer, are all more viable options imo than a doppel.

If I was going to make a PvP Doppel, I’d go Sw2>HL2>Corsair>Doppel or SW3>HL>Corsair>Doppel. HL for Cross Guard (it’s great when you block those archers) mainly.
