I don’t know if you guys know this but Stagger from Crossguard, when you block successfully from it, makes the staggered attacker unable to move, unlike being staggered from shield.
We know. But this dont mean he cant attack.
Specially Archers, they will just stop to move, and continue to attack.
That’s the window of opportunity to dash in > cc w/ knockdown or hook > burst dmg. Oh yeah and cross your fingers and hope they die when you blow all cds.
I think is better run, because is very dificult to not receive CC/debuff effects, even with him paralized.
