Highlander Crossguard Staggered Debuff in Pvp/Arena

Bug Description :
When you do crossguard, stagger debuff apply when you block, this debuff is supposed to control ennemy and debuff : Can’t move, Can’t attack, weak to pierce dmg. But with some multi hit skills : Rush, Running shot, and a lot of others people are abble to continue moving/attacking even if they shouldn’t be abble to. Once there skills are done, if they still have staggered debuff they will though get every debuff/controled to be applied. You can also sometime have some bug position, seeing the guy in another position from where he actually is if he was waling + get staggered.

Steps to reproduce the issue :

  1. Use Crossguard
  2. Ennemy attack or use multi hit skills like Rush/Running Shot etc
  3. Ennemy get Staggered debuff
  4. Ennemy still can continue his skills.

One thing I kept asking myself is from where is Crossguard skill is supposed to make enemy “can’t move” since it isn’t explicit anywhere nor attributes and debuff effects only have text about making enemy weaker to pierce attacks.

But even so, I think this bug you report may be ping related. How is your ping during Team Battle League?

I notice Catas hitting me from far away and some sleeps/freeze being applied out of range sometimes. As well getting hit by other skills outside range because ping issues. Some even go past the range of kino’s PP because position update and lower pings.

No problem on ping ^^ always betwen 60 to 100. I tried it in duel too.
And today found out in pve quests some mobs don’t get the can’t move nor attack part of the debuff either. Pretty strange anyway ^^

Pain barrier plus can be resisted /20chars.

Guy still get the stagger debuff, just only one third of the debuff works :slight_smile: and archers don’t have pain barrier either :p. The debuffs applies, but only applies the pierce dmg buff when people do multi hit skills while no problem with auto atk :slight_smile:

Cross guard block has 2 debuffs. The 3 seconds one is not the cross guard bind one and similar to how people get that debuff from C block for umbo blow combo. They can still attack when bind. It’s not going to stop them from attacking you. It can stop retreat shot though if they get binded. It can get resisted by bloodletting and it gets bypassed by restraint. Rush has status immunity so they can resist it.

I can completely say to you from testing it multiple times, with multiple types of skills and auto atk. On auto atk, when ennemy get the staggered debuff they get 10seconds where they can’t move, atk and are weak to pierce. While when doing multiple hit skills, the stagger debuff apply, but they won’t get the “can’t move nor attack” until the multi hit skill finish, there if the debuff is still on them they won’t be abble to more nor attack. :slight_smile:
