Hi, I’ve been wondering, since it takes a lot of time to level up the equipment attribute, what’s the best current end game gear for wizards?
I would like to use plates, but I’ve seen a lot of them with useless stats for us. Does it gets better at high levels? Do we have a good choice between them or there is a clearly “must use this cloth gloves, this leather boots, etc” ?
Depend on your taste i guess, i prefer cloth, many prefer plate for phys def.
It also depends on your build. If you’re a psychokino or a sorcerer, cloth is actually detrimental as it gives you extra max sp (you want as low sp as possible to fuel your pressure and your devil better as they drain sp based on a percentage, especially for sorcerers since they get a passive sp regen attribute). Plate is probably the best choice for said classes. I don’t recall any end-game armor giving that much of a boon.
Late-game, I’d go for plate. As a wiz, with a fair amount of SPR, I already have good magic defense so adding a bit of physical defense is a good balance
