i dont think so but well :B

This is not something new. For the last few months we have had terrible lag in Fedimian. Devs have already told they are looking into it, so lets hope for a fix.

Wah good I quit again in time to avoid that…

And “we are looking into it” as equivalent to “we dont care”.

Fun fact: when I set my games specs down to reduce FPS drops [which really increased my average FPS in towns and on maps by 10-20 FPS] and unparked my CPU cores, in the ± same time frames/animations which just dropped my FPS beforehand, I’m now experiencing high ms rates, which made the FPS improvement settings ± obsolete <_<

both the client and server architecture is severely broken. IMC needs to fix things on both ends to make the game more playable.

Anyone who played private RO servers using leaked Aegis software would know how shitty Mr Kim’s programming skills are.

Fact is games from gravity and more are 32bits ,means a real problem for 64bits o.s and 4cores+ ,they are not good for managing such of programs ans window do the best to stop steam game spread by nerfing 32bits using.

About the drop frame i think its more bots fault ,met lots of them in a small places ,they was crowled of more 50monsters pack in few cells ,we’ve got the same in case in ro servers weeks ago. each area have a specific server ,if im good to suggest the places i travelles (link to mage tower)was all connected.

i dont think imc is really guilty in charge of that, they are just simple provider to a main company ,trying to spread T.o.s in contry other than korea, japan,or thailand ,its more a host problem who dont really have a good server architecture (to be honest really awfull for a frankfurt one…).

The game is so cool ,that gimme back my hapyness since Ragnarok online so i wish he continue to live in european side

Could be; The RO servers of EuRO (the European Ragnarok Online server that was once run by Burda Holdings INT) and of Dragon Nest Europe were very laggy for the first period of time, and both server providers were residing in Frankfurt am Main [Main is a river and since there are 2 Frankfurts in Germany, one at the river Oder and one at the river Main, Frankfurt alone isn’t sufficient information to locate it] so it could be a problem resulting from this location.

I rather fear that the server isn’t located in Frankfurt anymore, though, because my ping to Frankfurt am Main is stable ± 18-20 ms while the game mostly throws 30+ ms at me. And since we can’t really pingtest the servers because the IP addresses of the official ping test post aren’t valid anymore, there’s no way to tell where the server is currently located other than that it has to be somewhere within Germany or the close neighbouring states…

And I honestly don’t know why games like TOS are 32 bit games. 32 bit operating system Windows doesn’t have the capability to provide enough RAM for a smooth gaming experience for modern MMORPGs, so why bother making 32 bit software which can’t really benefit by the new technology thrown at the market every year.

IMC is like a soldier shooting his own leg and asking for sympathy afterwards by providing such outdated software programming structures, and then they blatantly lie about the minimum requirements to play the game. With the minimum requirements graphic card you can shoot yourself because of endless FPS drops if it gets graphical, and you even get endless FPS drops in towns while doing nothing.

Same with the minimum harddrive space required to install the game: It requires at least 8-10 GB, not 4 GB as stated in Steam.

And then there’s this hilarious requirement of an Intel Pentium Core 2-processor. Why is the minimum requirement a 64bit processor if the game is 32 bit and can’t make use of multicores? God behold the poor monkeys that had their brains switched out with IMCs…

Just making sure that the software at least runs isn’t helping anyway, it’s like installing a program that’s only provided in an alien language you don’t understand and then ask: “Why are you complaining? The program runs smoothly, it’s your fault you can’t use it because you lack beyond the basics”.

IMC A: Hey, lets make a game like RO!

IMC B: Cool idea! But our funds are limited. Any ideas to get it cheap?

IMC A: Oh yeah. We have still the Granado Espada engine around! Its a bit outdated, but waaay cheaper than making a new engine or buying any licenses.

IMC B: But… its only 32 bit, wont that cause problems with the new hardware ppl are using these days and also cause heavy hardware issues?

IMC A: Nah. Will do, will do. We will hire some coders, they will get the best outta that.

IMC B: Ok if you say so! Lets make a game!

(some years later)

IMC A: Woah, the closed betas were very promising, wouldnt have expect these many players outside of Korea… ■■■■. The games far from working any stable but we need funds asap. Lets just start it with an expensive pre-access model ppl need to pay a lot for. That way we can limit the playerbase and work on the problems without pressure.

IMC B: But will the players be ok with that?

IMC A: Will do, will do!

(some massive rants later)

IMC A: Ok it seems like the players will go havoc if we stay with our model. Lets compromise, so they wont run away. The income will be the same anyways.

IMC B: But wont an unstable buggy game cause the pool of players to decrease drastically…?

IMC A: It okeii, will do!. We need some funds now, may tomorrows problems be dealed with tomorrow!

(several months of bugs later)

IMC A: Ugh. Only 3k players left…

IMC B: I told you!
