As topic, thinking of making this guy.
The build will be the standard one:
Swordsman > Peltasta > Hoplite > Cataphract c3 > Dragoon
Only difference is I’m planning the stats to be around 4 CON : 1 DEX and no STR
Anyone done anything similar? How hard is it to level with this build? How effective is it in PVE and PVP? What would you suggest/change?
This is most likely the best swords man build atm. I am going to give you a list of awesome swordsman stuff that other classes can’t do.
Aoe taunt that sucks up mobs like a screen wide vacuum cleaner? You got it.
Mounting a bush bird and run around like sonic? You got it.
Create a guild and fill it with 25 minions within two days? Nope, you chose dragoon.

Yup thays about it. Your damage is decent and this build is decent at pvp simply because of dragoon. PvE you wont do great damage at all. Half support cleics will out dps you. But you get to run around super fast so you can quest like the wind. And solo farming items for silver will also be decent since you can go fast.
Gotta go fast. I regret choosing dragoon.

What was your build with your dragoon?
I’m a bit worried about having 0 STR, whether I’m going to struggle levelling without it.
I would add a few points into STR but even if you don’t you are not really going to feel any struggle while leveling (besides the few couple ranks, if you do go without any STR).
Just get Cafrisun + Elemental headgears/equipment + Priest buffs (you can get them for pretty cheap) and you can get to Rank 6 without any problems. At that point you just get Elements for your 2H weapon and you will be dishing out a pretty decent amount of damage, enough to carry yourself all the way to Rank 7.
Because of your high CON you can just keep using Cafrisun all the way to 210+ and at that point it is party grinding time so you don’t have to worry about your damage anymore.
I have met quite a few high CON Cataphracts and they have all been leveling just fine by doing this. It is also how I am leveling my Cataphract (although I am adding some STR/DEX to the build).

I don’t really know about high level content since I only reach level 58 with Swordsman > Peltasta > Hoplite full CON build.
And so far I didn’t have any problem solo and party wise.
If you have Arde Dagger then it is better to use that with something like Zega Spear, until you can use Elements. Otherwise you can use anything to be honest, either Zega or Galin Trident.
It is not really about difficulty but speed. You save a lot of time by going with STR early on.
I just don’t want to use stat reset because it’s limited not like skill reset potion.
Yeah, I wouldn’t use it either. At least until max level with all the best equipment on the character.
By the way how long does it take to 280?
I’m playing about 5 hours on Monday to Friday and full day on Saturday and Sunday.
Difficult to say.
If it is your first time playing, anything between 1~2 months.
It depends on how lucky you get with your dungeon runs and how well you can stand mindlessly grinding for hours at higher levels. Maybe you get bored and make an alt to distract yourself from grinding, or maybe you make friends and socialize a lot, etc. Many things could happen that could make your leveling faster or slower.
Which is more effective for instance dungeon?
Premade party or auto matchmaking?

I got 80 on VIT at level 201. The rest on STR.
