I’m going to try this build for a most PvP character but of course it need’s to be at least “ok” on PvE to lvl up. Will this work fine on PvP and will not be a hell to lvl up?
don’t go highlander for pvp, its not good
pardoner buffs and max enhanced concentrate makes lvling easy for every swordsman no matter which build you go (unless its a damn full con squire)
now highlander 3 damagind skills are universal so they build is not entirely horrible, its just that its better for pve than it is for pvp.
this will be great to level up but hell to pvp with
let me give you a quick suggestion for every swordsman you make
get both concentrate AND gung ho to at least lvl 3, and max enhance them as soon as possible, they both cost 60k each to get to lvl 50 and that way your lvling up until rank 5-6 will be great, since most mobs pre rank 6 won’t be very tanky anyway
don’t forget pardon buffs, this stuff seem minor, but it makes a huge difference, if you want a pvp class, then make a pvp class don’t try to combine pvp and pve, just make both a pve char and pvp char
if you want a pvp character that revolves around dragoon, you can go swordsman 3 cata 3 dragoon c2, (or maybe sword 2 peltasta for a dragoon c2 build)
you can also do sword 2 (or pelt) hoplite 2 corsair 2 dragoon 2 (this is a good bossing build that can also gvg well, and pvp well too because of iron hook)
if you want to get really crazy with CC, you can do sword 3 rodelero 3 corsair 1 murmilo (you get insane amount of CC from that build)
you can also do the regular meta lancer build which will probably work best, all depends on what you like but what you have up there won’t be very successful at pvp in my opinion, not enough CC.

Sw3>Hop2>Sair>Goon2
Sw3 for max PainBarrier(CC resist) and Restrain(CC)
Hop2 for SpearLunge(pierce debuff) and LongStride(gap closer)
^v*this two has good synergy thru hook>stride as disable>gap closer
Corsair for IronHook(disabler CC) and DustDevil(minor CC filler)
Goon2 for- well…OHK nuking with Dethrone
sw3>cata3>corsair>Lancer
lol its the most common build just go for it
i wouldn’t go dragoon c1 at rank 8 though 
you meant lancer at rank 8 maybe
but yea sword 3 cata 3 is the best pvp swordsman, and also fun to level.

You guys made me change my mind. I’ll try a cata > lancer…just don’t know yet what to pick up at rank 7 dragoon or corsair…both are good and one gives more damage and the other great cc.
I’ll follow as sword > pelt > hop > cata 3
Now I’ll focus on being more tank and mobile using shield when it’s hard to get 25%hp buff and 2hand spear when it’s not that dificult to survive.
don’t sweat it it doesn’t make a difference.
sword 3 cata 3 is better at pvp, especially with lancer
there is no reason to go peltasta since lancer cannot use a shield, only 2h spear.
Now you CAN go sword 2 hoplite if you’d like,( even though i don’t see a reason to) but peltasta is a wasted circle.
if you really want to be a peltasta then dragoon c2 might be a better choice for your pvp class, since dragoon can use 1h spear but definitely not in a lancer build IMO, its not very efficient since lancer is getting all the utility you need with 2h spear.
