Hey guys, quick question: if I choose to hide my character name and only display my team name through in-game settings, will it appear the same way to players that didn’t tick this option? Or will they still see both?

That’s client sided. They can see it if they wanted to or not.

OP, when this option is checked people may only see your character’s name if they inspect through the “Character Info” function.
No, they wont see it next to your team name.
However, you can go to character info and check. Also, I noticed when you cast spells as a wiz like Reflect Shield and Enchant Fire from pyro circle in a party, your character name will flash as it’s casted.
It will do something like this “Reflect Shield (Character name)” and that will pop up above everyone’s heads, kind of interesting but whatevs.
