Tree of Savior Forum

Hey Saviors! What's your general opinion on Tree of Savior so far? (A progressive thread)

So far, for me, all good, most of it are excellent. But I have a lot of revision to do and memories to renew since I was like don’t give a dayum about the game for the past few months for its rare updates and news on its FB page. But praise Laima for the latest update and finally we got ourselves official international Tree of Savior forums.

I remember watching its videos and love every single second of it. I still remembered how excited I was particularly when I saw a ToS player making a kamehameha-like offense. That, and many more. I like the story so far too. It reads mysticism, wonders and urges for adventures.

I stop here for now. I would like to hear from you Saviors what’s your general opinion on the game so far. What do you like and what you don’t like, what you think can be improved upon, and things like that. I know it sounds more like that this should go to Feedback and Suggestion category, but I just thought of discussing this with you guys on the theme of "General Discussion, haha.

So, what’s your general opinion on Tree of Savior so far?

I think it’s great that the developers have this idea of exploration based gaming. Makes it different from other games that are very linear in terms of plot and questing. The wide range of classes and oh… hidden classes?? Just makes you want to explore the game yourself haha. I am very excited to play this game.

@luneth117 I totally agree with you. Exploration is a strong point in this game. That’s how MMORPG should be like - explore, explore and explore. And I also hope they add alot of mini-games in this game so that when we are like tired grinding and questing, we can have some casual fun as well.

I’m just worried that it ends up being “exploration” by name only… in the beta videos it looked very linear advancement to me… but beta is beta XD

I already love the game class system :smiley: so nothing is gonna stop me playing this game

Mini-games sound fun :smiley:! Although, I hope my friends can play as often as I do when the game gets released. :smile:

Aside from the inescapable grinding i think everything is very good and i really hope the game is what i expected. I would also want to explore the lore while leveling up my character. I am really hoping for a fresh start with this game since my other game already became heavy and started to be annoying.

I often compare the class system to the Subway Restaurant of MMO’s and the skills are so interesting and diverse too, that’s why I hope the game has some really hard dungeons and bosses to justify all these unique classes rather than min-maxing Passives!

@xeetiiarr
I think this is gonna be an MMO where we’ll love grinding and not be bored by it. Idk, some people are just so into it, some are not. But I can tell you I can foresee myself enjoying grindfest go in this game.

I am unimaginably happy that it looks so much like the first ragnarok online!

I didn’t get to test it yet, i’m pretty sure the gameplay is not really like RO1, but so far what i’ve seen from the videos got me infinitely hyped for this game.

I pretty much love the way everything looks and feels (well, as much feeling as I can get without having played it), from aesthetics, all the way to gameplay and class diversity in the way they work.

I guess i should ready my body and mind for the big grind.

Yeah this also worries me, I’m used to the huge expansive maps from RO and we have mounts now too. So I don’t see the point of it being so corridor like… but I guess time will tell maybe it’s just the started areas… I hope.
