The girls were the first ones off this sinking ship. They sensed it was going down and swam back to the safe islands that are RO private servers, leaving us angry boys to scream at eachother and jerk off stupidly while everybody drowns.

It’s mostly just the forums. Lots of people in game are really nice (once you get them to talk).

Totally agree, but I believe it’s because we have a quiet majority of nice people, and a loud minority of a variety of types of trolls (funny, “funny”, doomsday, venomous, masterbaiters, hater, banned cheaters who lost it all, anti-troll, etc) We just need to remember louder does not equal majority (while it does say some stuff about their psychological profiles).
About the game… yeah it has its issues… whatever. It’s fun, there are tons of builds as long as you don’t expect to be “meta”. There’s an alternative path to 280 that doesn’t involve queuing in merc post from 100 to 200, the plot is surprisingly, unusually good for an MMORPG.
On the internet, everyone’s a dude until proven otherwise. So grills in game are usually… not.
