Hexing + effigy = op

Im a pvp lover/ a bit my love for pve…
Im not a fan of zombie (and kinda useless for pvp)
My life is dedicated to hex enemy, spread it with pandemic and quitely Effigy them to death (GvG or arena), I know PD can easily cure it but who care… Every class has its counter class…

Two things i wanna ask :

  1. Effigy :
    Is effigy a sure damage skill??
    I mean does Effigy get effect by raising Int??
    Or effigy only has 170 damage (at level 1 cmiiw) no matter how much int I spent…

Does effigy effected by hexing -magic defense debuff???
I mean…

Level 1 hexing :
Magic defense: -(12 + SPR × 0.3)

Level 15 hexing :
Magic Defense: -(57 + SPR × 0.3)

Does that mean level 15 hexing magic defense decrease debuff gives effigy more damage than lvl 1 hexing??

  1. Hexing :
    Is it wise to max it??
    I know it duration>cd but in many thread i read… Hexing +1aoe to each level…so level 15 hexing will hit 15 enemy in 1 mob area??

And in pvp situation more duration mean u can freely effigy them anytime u want without worrying to debuff the enemy with hex again
What do u think??

Or maybe it is wise to spend other skill point to other skill than to max hexing?
(But the problem is i cant find any other skill to spend point to…considering zombie skill dont do much in pvp)

Err PD can easily shut down Bokor and there is a lllllllllloooooot of PD in iTos.So I wouldn’t rely too much on the Hexing/Effigy combo in PVP.If your main goal is to use Bokor curse combo as your source of damage than your going to be very disappointed when Battle League comes to iTOS.

If anything your going to have to support your team and wait until Bloodletting or Beak Mask wears off and start your Hexing/Effigy dps combo.

Actually i have back up plan on that…
When i know theres a PD on opponent team… I will rambo to enemy with mackandal - descerning evil ON - spread as much debuff as i can (before enemy’s PD realize what my planning is) - incineration to enemy (luckily if ther are all on one spot of my aoe= multi target hit)

Is it good??
Or please dont tell me PD can erase Incineration easily…

Then i will find other class

I am also building bokor>pardoner>doctor and I will leave hexing at lvl 1 because 57-12 = 45 x 0.3 = 13,5 mdef = nothing and the duration will be more then enough with discerning evil.
Effigy works like any other magic skill, it is raised by int (base damage+int-mdef) and affected by hexing debuff. Also hexing + effigy its not op at all, it is good because it’s easy to use (targeted ranged) your main damage will always be incineration (rank3 can also be resisted by PD) and pd’s will always be be your counter class.

  • I will be going druid R6 to deal with PD’s, mackangdal > telepath > let your team kill him > safety zone.

As far as I know, Hexing was made a lvl 2 debuff and thus not being affected anymore by bloodletting.

Bloodletting dispels lvl 2 ailments and below

Bloodletting prevents Aliment status Rank 1 and 2,I’m aware that Hexing moved from rank 1 to rank 2 but it will still get denied.I think your confuse with Oracle’s Prophecy skill that only prevents rank 1 status aliment.

Thus makes Bokor very useless because there is so much Plague Doctor and they all choose that class for PVP purposes.
Bokor won’t help much in PVP as an offensive build.

If a PvP Bokor player is consistently getting killed within 25 seconds after the start of the match (Duration of Bloodletting at Lv5), then there’s a serious problem.

The only thing they can do has a Bokor to support the team outside of the other class you choice with bokor is Mackgandal.

Thats ridiculous. Blocking the only skill of the bokor making effectively damage like that, just because IMC “forgot” to move the rank of hexing right.

I thought moving it by a rank was due to making it still viable vs PD - so for what reason did they move it then in the first place?

Dunno I guess to counter Prophecy skill from Oracles.Dude nothing is set on stone you never know they might change it again.

I keep saying to everyone and quote me if you like:

Patches can buff and nerf things over and over so with that said,things can change so look out for those changes.

You’re better off maxing out Effigy instead of Hexing because the magic defense reduction is extremely raw, so basically having -100 magic defense equivalent to +100 extra magic damage of all sources.

In fact, Effigy get more benefits with raw magic damage alone rather than element property attribute like Adre and Venom Dagger. (Except only when Venom proc whenever you cast Effigy for extra 6k+ damage over 15 seconds).

Pure INT definitely work and you can replaced HP with HP gears and potentials from accessories.

The only way to fight classes like PD is huge CC and DPS. I do recommended C2 Cleric > C2 Bokor > C1 Krivis > C1 Druid > C1 PD to get those extra utilities from Krivis’ Zaibas with Druid’s Telepath for 1v1 purpose.

Zombie is extremely useless late game as a Bokor, except for Paladin/Monk. You’re better maxing out Hexing, Effigy, Mackandal, Samediveve instead.

There’s no reason to erase Incineration because it very easy to dodge if you are fighting against mirror (Bokor/PD) or high movement speed PD. Like i said, you’re better off with C1 Druid/C1 Krivis to get the extra utilities and zone him out. Having a Bokor against PD isn’t impossible, but the chances to landing Hexing is extremely low.
