I quit ToS at the beginning of March this year and the game I started playing went to total shytters a few days ago so I’m thinking about coming back. I logged in and found out I got a free green penguin which is good. I also noticed that you don’t need token to use team inventory which is also good. I also noticed that the wait time for Siauliauaiaiai is much longer than back in March.

I heard that Zaibas+Storm Calling is in the trash bin now. It was my fav dps char… Anyways what else has changed? Is Hackapell any better? Newer end game? I heard the monsters at later maps got nerfed. Is this true? Prizz tell me everything that’s changed.

ps this game graphics is so beautiful and smooth. Too bad the devs are utterly useless…

alot of the skills were changed and attributes were changed too. that about it i think. But alot of stuff has came to KTOS this summer it will all be here soon

There was a re-balance patch which was was a good start, they introduced new elite mobs and PvE combat ‘feels’ more satisfying. But the game is easy (especially if you are geared) and leveling is much too fast now (imo).

There are plans to revamp (fix) the world boss mechanics and PvP / GvG, but until that happens there’s little to do at end game unless you enjoy questing and collecting. A lot of players have gone on hiatus until new content arrives, and some may have moved on by that point.

On a more positive note, a lot of stuff is under testing in kToS at the moment and will arrive soon (we might see something as soon as next week). And it’s been mentioned that they want to introduce r9 this year. So there are indications that things are happening behind the scenes but there are still doubts over whether IMC’s can build any momentum and support the iToS community.

The underlying game is still there to be enjoyed (nothing’s changed there). Build-crafting, quests, collecting, upgrading, grinding, art and music etc. But until more updates are announced don’t expect much in the way of challenge or competition.

Now now don’t start whining later I’ll tell you right now. Rank reset event ended and no unexpirable one was given.
There is a DLC for rank reset up now and its untradable to other players. So if you wanna start up with where is my rank reset then buy the DLC and get at least 1 char good to go.

I wouldn’t advise anyone to come back before Rank 9; that has 2 reasons:

  1. It doesn’t create an artificial player base rise like what happened with the Rank Reset event while there is no real content to do

  2. The balances for most issues and many missing bugfixes don’t justify starting again right now. If you’ve got mystical cubes to roll, feel free to log in for that,though.
    Practoniums are useful even at Rank 9 later.
