Nah, if it take this long for them to appear, just ban them periodically.
I don’t think its as much work as the lv 1 microphone spam.
Knew it would happen eventually though not as soon as I thought it would.
Here is a suggestion…
Someone make a bot that will spam the gold seller’s main site. (Obviously I’m not being serious here but it would be nice to throw all of that noise right back at them wouldn’t it.)
Just block them, at least they won’t come back as fast now.
Is there a JAIL and MUTE SYSTEM in TOS? would be nice though … no banning just jail them indefinitely with mute …

No not DDOS I already know that wouldn’t work. I meant as literally spam their site chat or other forms of communications that they use for costumer service with the exact spam they are spewing. But I wasn’t being serious anyways.
They are spamming just fine on lvl 1 chars in normal chat near the market NPC covering all of your auction window with their chats.

People already confirmed lv.120+ bots. They’re not going anywhere. IMC keeps calm and collected, like they have everything under control. Meanwhile the game is turning into a clown fiesta. Where the honest players get punished by restrictions and the bots still run rampant.

The situation isn’t that bad now because when these spam bots get banned, they aren’t able to refund since they’ve played over 2 hours to level up. This means, the gold seller has to pay 10 dollars for each of their rather short lived advertisement. I’m rather sure they won’t gain 10 dollars back from them.
Maybe some of their bots screwed up and the gaming time exceeded the steam’s minimum and now they are just using them to maximize their usefulness or something?
Considering that gold sellers are selling million of silvers a day. Losing 10$ is pretty worth.
Yeah I know and that is why I wasn’t being serious. Its just wishful thinking.
Apparently, this post begs to differ

But it’s 10$ per short lived ad. They would need to use multiple spam bots a day to keep up the spam they had earlier, and each of these would cost you that 10 dollars.
Who knows how they got their accounts? Apparently, they seemingly can buy unlimited 10$ accounts. Pay the electricity, internet and man hours bills. While still making huge profit. They’re still here arnt they? So something is very wrong here.
There was a lot of times I thought many of the people petitioning the trade system might be gold scammers but was afraid to suggest it. At least I now know I’m not the only one who thinks so.
Eh you cant trade silver anyway so I dont see much problem there with trade restirction
but Im sure IMC is currently busy with other matters thus not having the time to roam around servers to ban the botters
