Helper System - An offline money making?

I’m so glad that ToS has this feature implemented. The only game I’ve played that also has this feature is PSO2.

I’ve read through the FAQ about it.

Still, I have some question regard this System.

  • From information I’ve known, you can actually switch to your ‘Helper’ and control them. How the other character will behave? Does the AI smart enough to revive you or heal you WHEN you’re low health, or they will cast anything that off cooldown?
  • We need to hire helper with cost of in-game money. Does being a friend to them has some discount? I mean, when I’m not online, I would prefer to have my ‘AI self’ go with a friend.
  • What do we gain from being a ‘Helper’? Beside the amount of gold that people pay us?

I guess I missed this announcement. Is this just a system where your allowed to turn yourself into an npc for someone else to “borrow” while your offline?

That’s actually pretty neat! It would make support characters a lot more useful over time. Hope this does play out then. :+1:
