After reading a lot about Cleric builds I decided to go for a more simple one:
Cleric2>Krivis3>Druid2>Taoist3
I’m current at lv 266 (Cleric2>Krivis3>Druid2). Since I’ll soon hit Lv 300+ I’m start to planning for late game (saving silver, getting Cards, doing daily quests for atribute points, etc…). But I still have some questions:
For Gear:
Rod or Hammer + Shield? Cloth or Plate?
Elecktra Necklace is core for the build, and I should focus on Gear with INT, CON, SPR, +Lighting Damage, + Magic Damage, right? I play mostly solo, and not much everyday… So not for a long time Velcoffer and Solmiki are probably out of my Affordable Gear ^^. Should I just save for lv 380 Primus Gear? Or is it advisable to use some for 315, 350 Gear? (I’m using a Cafrisun Set +11 to level up to lv 315 ^^., Did it on my Warlock and it was ok).
For Cards:
Some people say:
Red Card:
Chapparition Lv10 x3 (+30% Magic Attack for 6 seconds after consuming an Sp Potion)
Blue Card:
Nuaele Lv10 x3 (+30% Magic Defense)
Green Card:
Pyroego Lv10 x3 (+30 Intelligence)
Purple Card:
Gazing Golem Lv10 x3 (30% chance to gain Pain Barrier when hit)
other say:
Red Card:
Chapparition Lv10 x2 (+20% MA 6 w/ Sp Potion)
Froster Lord Lv10 x1 (20% chance per attack dealt of freezing an enemy for 4 sec)
Blue Card:
Zaura Lv10 x3 (+30% Physical Defense)
What is the optimal setup? I imagine Cloth/Plate Gear goes with Zuara/Nuaele Card (to balanced each other)… Any other possible Cards?
For Stats:
Since I’m not a pro Player, I feel more confident with at least 50 CON (But if End Game is really hard I wouldn’t mind going to 100 or so), the rest INT? or balance like 3 INT 1 SPR? Or a minimal amount like 50 SPR, or just go on with Blue Pots?
From the Classes:
Cleric and Krivis are no brainer, But Druid can be trick… Shoud I just max Chostarmata, Carninory, Sterea Troph and Thorn, or should I pick some points in Shapeshift/Transform?
On the Taoist path, does Upper Level work with Chostarmata and Carninory? Nobody picks Tri-disaster Charm, why? Isn’t at least 1 point good?
That’ it… Also, It took me 3~4 days to hit lv 300 on the Warlock, but after playing for another week, I’m still level 339… Is it normal? from 300+ the leveling get severaly more difficult? Or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks in advance, and any help will be gladly accepted! I’m really noob T-T
I didnt read through everything I’m at work right now. I’ll answer whatever I can for now.
For weapon, rod provides more MATK, but mace provides more heal power (attribute). I suggest rod+shield.
I’d say the minimum level to start investing in gears is 350 since there is quite a large amount of required exp from 350 to 360.
I heard upper level works with chrotasmata, but I’ve never tried. 1 point in shapeshift. Max transform, chrotasmata, sterea trohf. At least 1 point in thorn and carnivory.
For stat build, it varies according to the current status of your equipment. You’ll need INT at first for the magic attack until you get an above average weapon with some transcendence levels, then you can sacrifice some INT to be spent in either SPR or CON. SPR is largely a
luxury though, a Taoist doesn’t really spam skills as much as an Exorcist for example, so you should be fine with minimal SPR investment and using both lv15 SP potion and Huge SP potion. Do keep in mind that SPR does give more healing power compared to INT.
As for Druid skill build, none of the Transform benefits are mandatory, though the large insect bonus of defense and HP increase or getting Lapinel with its short duration move speed boost can be helpful. Therefore, it’s up to you whether you want to skip Transform or use it.
As for cards, Chappa x3 is the safest option. Froster Lord card is good for mobs (+50% more lightning damage on frostbitten mobs) but the effect doesn’t work on bosses.
On the Upper Level + Chortasmata/Carnivory interaction, before the Druid rework it did work, but afterwards it doesn’t seem to work anymore.
As for Tri-Disaster Charm, getting 1 point doesn’t hurt as Taoist have many skill points to spend after maxing the key skills (Storm Calling, Divine Punishment, Eradication). I don’t recommend getting Creeping Death above level 6 as it’s rather crappy against bunched up mobs and not even bosses are big enough to soak up all the hits from a level 6 charm.
Rod+Shield is ideal, the loss of healing power is irrelevant for that build tbh. (auk+chorta will heal for tons anyway)
Armor-wise I prefer plate, but both are good enough that it’s solely down to personal preference.
Electra is best in slot, and it actually works now so that’s nice too.
Int is still your most important stat, but con/spr on gear is always welcome.
Int>Matk>Magic amp>Elem dmg is the order of best to worst for the offensive stats, though keep in mind I didn’t fully test +lightning dmg interactions with kriv/tao buffs. (elem property is usually ignored by all such effects though. and likely is here too.)
Primus gear is fine, if not better. But velcoffer is your late game goal.
Just keep an eye out on the market, purple rng with better stats/enhances can be even better that primus with rubbish stats/enhance.
Weapons are especially important, mostly for the 350 range. But grab at least some 350 lvl armor when you reach it imo, most are quite cheap and should work well.
There is no optimal setup.
3x chap works on everything, but it’s a mere +30% dmg boost on a timer. (multiplies with everything though)
2x Chap + 1x frosterlord can deal far more dmg (up to +80% vs non-ice and +59% vs ice mobs.) but has some severe downsides in that frosterlord’s debuff cannot effect bosses, is rng based as to when it hits and isn’t as effective vs ice mobs.
Nuaele and Zaura are interchangeable, though technically you get more use out of multiplying your highest defense. (Zaura for plate for example) But you can also make an argument that improving your weakest def stat is far more noticeable.
Aka grab whatever you prefer.
Green cards just aren’t that amazing on a build like this regardless. +30 con/spr/int are all fine choices but rather expensive for their results.
Purple is a lot more interesting:
Gazing golem is somewhat useful, but krivtao is not a build that benefits a lot from it. (since it has quick cast times and long-ish cd’s. Chorta might get the most use out of it.) I would recommend trying out 1 card and seeing if that is sufficient for your tastes, if not just add more ofc.
Marionette is worth mentioning for the cc, though the chance is low but kriv/tao really wants enemies to stay in their aoe’s so it’s well worth using.
Dullahan ofc to sometimes even survive death.
Maybe Lithorex, but I recommend testing how ele property atk works first. If it gets multiplied it might be worth it.
You could go all in on int and get the neccesary con from equipment tbh.
How much con you want to invest from stat points is entirely up to your own preference.
And fyi most of your dmg will be from your weapon, losing 100 int is not something you should worry about.
Spr is entirely optional, as potions can replace it entirely.
And how much you want to use depends entirely on you, but I’d recommend trying out the 50-100 range. Just keep in mind you can supplement this with equipment as well, so don’t invest to much either.
Chortasmata is almost always a must max for druid, it has the best dmg out of all the skills and scales healing to boot. (Doesn’t hit flying though and should be rubbish for pvp dmg wise.)
Sterea trofh likewise, 10s invuln for anyone in it is to good to pass up on. Even if it’s acting a bit weird atm.
Thorn & Carnivory are more evenly tied, carnivory is better dmg but can’t hit flying and hits mobs inside grass only. (aka where chortasmata will usually kill them anyway) Thorns has less dmg but does hit flying and can be aimed at different mobs. I personally prefer thorns tbh.
Shapeshift is a 1 pointer and never more since literally 99% of the transformations aren’t worth using. (auto attacks literally outdmg almost all of them…) And you only take 1 point for if you want to use transform.
Transform is a bit better, and you want it at lvl 5 or not all. (druid3’s ditch it in favor of lycanthropy altogether)
There are a few mobs that supplemental skills worth using, but most are not that great. See my druid thread for a list. The best is a movement speed buff arguably.
But the stat boost can also be interesting, with +75% max health from large mobs vs +200 evasion from small mobs and an additional +40% defenses from insects, +50% mdef/pdef regen from plants. (beast’s crit rate is useless for kriv/tao)
Used to, stopped doing somewhere after the druid rework.
I reset my kriv/tao though so I can’t tell if that’s still the case, but it was the case roughly a week ago.
You’d need to ask someone with ktos knowledge like @greyhiem if it will get fixed or not though.
It’s literally -200 to -300 elemental dmg taken. It’s absolutely junk aside of that one set effect that can turn it into additional dmg.
But a kriv/tao won’t use that due to their electra necklace themselves.
Don’t ask me, i’m not active enough to say anything on that topic
I tend to be lazy and just spam dungeon runs to level up several chars.
