I see. Personally I’m always the only Cleric with Priest. A lot of Clerics on NA don’t take Priest, and often I’m even the only Cleric, so that’s why to me it’s so great to have.
If you don’t want to focus on physical damages, just ditch Inquisitor. It’s a good class, but I don’t see it bring that much to ET.
For ET/PvE, Taoist will definitely bring you more. It became one of my favourite classes for PvE, it just has everything: good damages, good buffs, and protection/laziness with Dark Sight.
I don’t know if you’ve seen the changes to Krivis :
- Aukuras: Goddess of Fire attribute (Circle 2) allows you to reduce the duration of Aukuras by 80% and the cooldown to 30 seconds, while adding Fire property damage to magic attacks on nearby enemies based on your INT/SPR.
- Divine Stigma, now with a fixed duration of 15 seconds and cooldown reduced to 6 seconds, we’re adding a DOT attack function that applies additional Fire property magic damage every second. Not only that, enemies affected by the Divine Stigma debuff receive 1.5 more damage from skill Zaibas. Divine Stigma is also getting a new Demon Slayer attribute, which increases damage on Demon-type enemies, and a regular Enhance attribute.
- We’re removing all limitations of the maximum number of buffs and turning Daino into a skill that changes your basic attacks into magic ones. Attacks performed under Daino will have no block, evasion or critical, and they will rely on your INT stat for added value.
With the Taoist-Krivis synergy + the fact Divine Stigma will boost even more Zaibas, going Krivis 3-Taoist will get much better. That’s why it feels a bit like a shame to just go Krivis 2. But it would still work, just not as much damages. Paladin would be only for support as well. You could go Krivis 3 at R9 anyway, or keep going with Taoist 2.
If you go Taoist, don’t invest in any STR or DEX. Your Paladin will focus on support, his attack skills won’t be part of your main damages rotation. You should go INT, to focus on your Taoist and Krivis classes.
(On a side note, if you’re sure you’ll always have several Clerics/Priests in your parties, you could just ditch Cleric 2… Cleric 1 -> Krivis 3 -> Paladin 3 -> Taoist. Focus on buffs, debuffs and damages, not heals. 1 Cleric with Heal 10 is normally good enough to heal the party.)
