Hi guys, after all this years playing as mage/cleric i’m ready to start my SW, for the first time in all kind of games, cuz i’m loved with lancer… But i have no clue what do do, or start can u guys pls help me with builds, tips stuff??
Is true lance is just good on pvp? im not a high cap pvp player, but i like to go pvp and play pve too
Anti magic build. It needs Cata3 to work tho, since if you dont get away fast enough from Inquis, they will roast you.
Good enough I think to get away from mage CCs if you have gained enough experience. Probably good enough to beat clerics too. Unless they are Kabbas thouhg… not sure how to beat kabbas 
PS NOT saying it will beat clerics, Im just saying, for the first time ever, swordies have a chance with lancers’ CC skills
SW C3, Cata3, Corsair (iron hook), Lancer
You can replace corsair with pelt to block burst damage from cannoneers and dragoons, but iron hook is too awesome in pvp tho…
Disclaimer, I have only used lancer in wide map gvg. Where nobody can catch up to my cata3.
I was free to reset the battle anytime. I just spammed crush, joust, hook and Cata kcock down skills and run away if i miss.
Eventually you learn to evade those pesky Pears and frost pillars. The other guild didnt have a strogn archer though so I dont know how it would go.
There was another catagoon, but i just use unhorsing. enough to give me the advantage.

Dex build for greater DMG but high CON if you wanna survive those stupid pears.

Im constantly getting rank 1 as Lancer. Though im heavily geared. It all boils down to how well geared you are. I always beat Dragoon 2 or Dopple 3 as long as they dont have Glass mole x8.
You need Cata3 to utilize Lancer skills to be effective in PVP. Cata 3 in PVE is very good. Needless to say, Lancer can be viable in PVE as long as you build right and has very good equipment.
Cata 3 skills = AOE, Bossing
Lancer skills = Good against boss/few mobs.
Pretty much the same as all around build Dragoon 2.
