[Help with corsair] skill compatilibity

Hello everyone,

I was wandering if it’s possible to make a corsair c3 - lancer and these questions are on my mind:

-Can I use pistol shot while mounted nowadays?
-Can I use Hexen Dropper while mounted nowadays?
-In case haxen dropper cant be used while mounted, would it worth to get corsair c3 just for pistol shot?

(I’m not interested in cataphract path since I already have one and didn’t the damage in the current ktos test)

Please, help me with my crazy builds o//

Weirdly, no. https://tos.neet.tv/skills/10809 Maybe they will change it later on?

Yes. https://tos.neet.tv/skills/10808 Kinda weird since you can use a gun with this skill while mounted but you can’t use Pistol Shot.

Be noted though that unless you have a class in your build that has the riding attribute (e.g. Cata, Lancer), you will still unmount when using mount-compatible skills.

IMO for PVP yes (e.g. Hook + Pistol Shot). Otherwise, I think people just go C3 to max C1/C2 skills depending on purpose.

After the new patch dust devil isnt worth to take lv15. Iron hook and kelhauling are really strong. Hexen dropper and pistol shot are abit stronger than before.

Thank you for your advices, guys.

Guest I’ll give it a try… Hope IMC allow using pistol shot while mounted in next patches

I really don’t think this build will do anything useful for you. Not just because of mount compatibility, but also the fact that Corsair has to dual wield and Lancer has to use a 2H spear, and weapon swap is still shitty and prone to lag. But the biggest thing is that the majority of mounted PVP strength comes from Cataphract’s Trot giving you a massive amount of movement speed. Without Trot, you actually move faster dashing on foot than you do while mounted. Meanwhile if you were to instead go Murmillo, you could use Frenzied Slash as a gap closer to jump on enemies you have hooked (if you also went Hoplite2 you can double-jump from crazy far away), and have the helmet for extra tankiness.

I wish swordsmans have auto swap as well, our weaponry is as diverse as archers. :disappointed:

I agree, it’s very annoying. Especially because while I’ve gotten used to swapping from pistol to dagger and back to use Swashbuckling on my Corsair3 (because for some reason you can use it with a dagger but not a pistol), you still lose the Swashbuckling buff which means your maximum aggro decreases so after the forced taunt wears off (~3 seconds) the mobs will attack your allies again or just wander off if you’re solo. Also means you don’t get to benefit from the +25% health attribute.
