Help with bonfires please!

I have firewood. when I rest no prompt comes up to build a bonfire. I can’t find this as a skill, so I don’t know what I am doing wrong. Help!!! And I’m a newb, so please be specific. thanks!!

Your hotbar should have a Build Bonfire icon when you’re sitting. When you press it a grid with numbers pops up~ press one of the numbers to place it in that square. If it’s not on your hotbar I’m not sure why since you cant move or remove those skills.

It doesn’t. Maybe it’s some kind of a glitch, but I have never had it. I thought it was because I didn’t have firewood, but I fixed that. Thanks.

i don’t know how to do that. Tried by the instructions, but it didn’t seem to work.

I don’t mean to be so stupid. I did that. Nothing happened. If it saved, I can’t find it anywhere. I have to go for a while, but I’ll check back. Thanks for trying to help. I really appreciate it.

stupid would be not asking for help or not searching for the answer before asking (but that is more lazy than stupid)…

here is a quick way to know if you took the screenshot: Open mspaint and hit paste, the image should a appear there faster than you can search for it on game files

EDIT: here is where the game images are saved:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\TreeOfSavior\release\screenshot

OP probably has another key bound for taking screenshots it they were using Steam.

I think you have to hold L1 and then press X instead of just pressing X

oooohhhh. I thought that was my grayed out battle stuff. :flushed: I can’t believe I have missed this for like 2 days…I was looking for a screen prompt or something.
