U can check the skills of the classes on tosbase.
Actually i recommend doing that to you with your wife so she can look over the skills and can decide what sounds fun to her.
Atm you can level perfectly fine in any combination of classes, eventhough i wouldnt recommend two clerics as that can become painstakingly slow in the beginning^^
And there are soooo many classes to choose from, maybe she sees something in the Wizard class tree where she thinks wow that looks great i want that.
Otherwise if you dont want to look stuff up or just dont enjoy building your own builds(what i dont condemn as its a lot to take in) go with Cleric>Priest>Diev>Diev>Diev>Priest>PD
I geuss thats pretty good in partys. A lot of buffs, heals and CD reduction(Diev) Invincibility(Diev) and CC immunity(PD).
But i still recommend you and your wife to check all the class skills beforehand as i think you that you and your wife will feel more accomplished when you have build it yourself.

For a barb? My lady is going to be a cleric 2 - krivis 2 ( zaibas for her, zalcai for you and, daino for more buff slots and aukuras 1 for aoe debuff for later on ) - bokor 2 ( hex and effigy spam, requires a bit of spirt so stronger zalcai. Also mackandal for you to survive huge mobs, and the movement speed one for her to run away from huge mobs ) - plague doctor ( heal on 5 because well she needs to keep you alive, incendiary or whatever its called so she can kill stuff, just make sure she debuffs them first, into pandemia if pandemia lvl 3 can spread the fire with bloodletting at 1 and the up to tier 3 debuff removal at 1 for utility and for keeping the two of you healthy and debuff free ).
Figuring out a build for my lady was Much easier then for myself xD
both the suggested classes look cool. thanks! we like to choose classes we like to play but arenāt too familiar with the mechanics and how well the classes will perform and she isnāt too keen to spend hours deciding on a build hahahā¦ we both have trouble making decisions when it comes to builds. h
