Hi guys,
I’m trying to make a semi tank pve and I’d like your thoughts on the build I’m trying to make.
sword1>pelt1>hop3>cata1>dragoon1
stats: get 30k hp without equips/buffs (around 129-135 con) then pour the rest into str
Pelt for swash, hop3 for finnestra’s block (I heard you still get hit a lot even with max stoneskin at lvl 260+), cata1 for mobility and mounting hp bonus then dragoon for damage.
As semi tank, I plan to hold aggro on mobs with swash and finnestra’s block for dps party members then spam pierce, stabbing and dragoon’s low cd skills to contribute damage against bosses.
Comments/suggestions will be much appreciated thanks!
Also, I have a few questions:
- Will this build work for both party and solo play?
- Is 30k hp (without buffs/equips enough to tank high level mobs?
- I see posts saying that you either go cata c3 or don’t take cata at all. Why is that?
- Is there a better alternative for my planned rank 6 cata 1 for tankyness?
