For my Chaplain which is better, Cleric masters??
Five Hammer with Red Gems. There are times when Valia would have a higher damage output, but it can’t beat the benefits of also having +5 AoE Attack Ratio
is five hammer with five blue gems also viable? i only see five hammer with red gems even on wizards, and im not sure whats the deal
Blue Gems are only better for Druids taking advantage of Hengestone. For most magic classes, Blue Gems and Red Gems would yield about the same amount of magic attack.
However, for Chaplains Red Gems are much more beneficial since it will boost both the initial hit of the basic attack and Aspersion (Aspergillum).
Red Gems are also much more popular because the Five Hammer becomes usable by all Wizard, Cleric, and Swordsman classes that don’t have weapon restrictions. I for example, use it on my Alchemist, my Squire, my magic Cleric, my physical Cleric, and my Chaplain.
is it good until level 300+? enlighten me master
Yeah it’s good. You can even skip Vienarazis Mace and just wait for Attilla / Vieretta Mace / Skull Smasher if you want to keep yourself under a budget
I thought it was determined that Hengestone affects blue and red gems the same?
thanks for you answer
Thankyou for the thoughtful answer! I was thinking of blue gems because i use magnus exorcismus since it got fixed now
Wasn’t it just cards that take the average of Max Attack and Min Attack?

This is true unless you factor in transcendence. Stage 1-3 Trans is not that bad, even compared to a five hammer with lvl 6 gems.
Five hammer with lvl 5 gems is a great budget option, but I would still grab untrans Vien with my practonium (if i ever get it)
I remember some confusion on this initially back in the Druid thread. I’ll search for it again and post here if I find it.
