Help pick a class!

I played in the closed beta and played a wizard and sword men both were alright but I never got to try out the other classes ;o

I tend to like a very fast high damage glass cannon style

but the wizards skills or so flashy but I worry about the cool downs later on etc and being slower

any advice ?
Thanks!

Archers and wizard have the biggest burst combos imo. But of course it depends on what classes you pick.

You would Enjoy Swordsman going mainly hoplite/cata into dragoone~

Or the Archer class, Ranger is really fun, and quite the KS-er (oops). Lots of fun high damage classes under the Archer class tree~

goodluck~

I’ll look into dragoone thanks ;>
any other nice classes for speedy game play?

In no specific order or initial builds. (yeah most Archer classes are fun tbh, like I couldve said ALL /slapped)

Ranger going into Fletcher or Sapper
Quarrel Shooter into Sapper.

Wugushi (worth it if only going C3)

Schwarzerasldkjasd is great too. lets you ride on mount. Mobility is always nice~

Definitely going Musketeer or Cano at r7 would give you loads fun (I believe).

Consider these classes to add some utility: Scout, Falconer, and Rogue.

Overcrowded servers + slow mob respawn + rampant kill stealing = you should play Archer.

Unless you’re patient. I have a couple friends who quit tos because they got tired of constantly waiting for quest spawns and then getting kill-stealed.

If you want to kill bosses really fast you could go Swordy > Whatever > Hoplite > Hoplite C2 > Corsair > Corsair C2

Only downside is that you will be get ksed and grinding large groups of mobs is a pain in the neck.

depends on your choice;
Swordsman classes have high damage at early levels with barb/hoplite but they start struggling at later levels, where grinding is done by killing mobs with aoe.
Wizard classes start slow but they get stronger as they rank up, as you get more skill, you can put them in rotation.
Archer classes have also great damage but struggle with sp a lot more, as you’ll need to spam your 0cd abilties.

You like glass canon ? how about get a real canon that can shoot stuff down ?
I recommend Canonneer

BTW they give sp potions as quest reward now, don’t really need to worry about potions until after level 100 I guess

If you’re really going for Dragoon and want that “very fast high damage” on your way into being one. I suggest you consider Hoplite circles over Cataphract. But if you like AOE, too, then, well, it’s up to you.
